Basically, when Trump wants to get rid of someone, he tells them, and they resign. If they refuse to resign, they're fired. That's not always the case, but it happened a lot so far.

I wonder if it's pertinent that Obama had two Secretaries of State during his tenure?

Also, Bahrara and Yates refused to uphold Trump policies, if I remember correctly. Disobeying your boss in any sector, much less the political world, will get you fired. We can lump James Comey into that category, as well.

Was there a special counsel spending taxpayer dollars to investigate crimes totally unrelated to him and his campaign?

Not very closely and not through any particular source of media.

But not hard to notice there has been a lot of change in his party already. And going by CB's post below it seems even more extensive than i'd thought.

Hence, their unemployment.

Nope. If he's telling them to do something illegal they are supposed to refuse.

Kind of like the time Nixon told the Attorney General to fire the special counsel investigating him, so the AG resigned, then the Deputy AG resigned when given the same order. Then Nixon had to resign because his republican party wasn't full of treasonous snakes who would sell out the country to protect their party.

Why would you resign because of that? I honestly don't know who has been prosecuted and for what. Also if they were prosecuted wouldn't they have had to do have first done something?

You are seeming to take this a shot at Trump when really I just found it amusing that the supposed most powerful country on the planet's government is basically having a game of musical chairs with many of the big jobs. (The UK isn't a much better state but the US campaign produced some real cartoon characters where as we really only have Boris.)

Trump appointed an acting Attorney General, Rosenstein, and Rosenstein thought the investigation had merit. So, you are correct that the other presidents weren't under the same scrutiny, but in this case it seems justified, and it's not a witch hunt.

The key witnesses from the Trump inner circle all refused to testify. Bannon refused to testify even after a subpoena, which is contempt, but they let him get away with it. It was politics, not a legitimate investigation.

It's technically prosecutable to refuse to testify when subpoenaed. That's the point of a subpoena.

What he did was resign, and thus make himself exempt from Mueller's jurisdiction. Same thing Strzok did. Same reason Comey is no longer compelled to testify.

The GOP just came out this morning and said there's no collusion, and that it was indeed, a witch hunt.

The forum just can't handle level-headed fact-based analysis using the queen's English.  I should have just said that Vanatta double-diggled that foglet Ferguson in blueberry flavoured buttermilk and I'm sure Banham would have agreed.

Month after month after month of investigations by every conceivable government agency and committee, not to mention the entire might of the main stream media, and yet still, not a single shred of evidence has been produced to prove there was collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.

Now Hilary, the DNC, the false dossier??? There's the real collusion story.

So I am curious, what do/did people think of Rex as Secretary of State?

How did you think he would have been compared to how he ended?

I wonder why Trump picked him.

President Trump named Army Lt. Gen. H.R. McMaster as his new national security advisor Monday, replacing Michael Flynn, who was forced to resign last week.

McMaster, a career Army officer and strategist, is known as one of the military's most prominent intellectuals.

"He is highly respected by everyone in the military, and we’re very honored to have him," Trump said of McMaster in making the announcement while seated in the living room at Mar-a-Lago, his estate here, between a uniformed McMaster and Keith Kellogg, who had been interim national security advisor.

I am pleased to announce that, effective 4/9/18, @AmbJohnBolton will be my new National Security Advisor. I am very thankful for the service of General H.R. McMaster who has done an outstanding job & will always remain my friend. There will be an official contact handover on 4/9.

Was there a special counsel spending taxpayer dollars to investigate crimes totally unrelated to him and his campaign?

Was there evidence that things had happened that warranted a special counsel? Guess not.

Scaramucci went on a rant, and berated another staffer. Totally unrelated to Trump.

Hope Hicks resigned for admitting to telling "little white lies" before the special counsel.

Bannon left to further Trump's agenda in the media, where he started.

Sean Spicer wasn't cut out to deal with the media..

That list is such a joke. lol

Yet the list is soooooo much bigger than similar lists from the previous 2 president....coincidence?

Wanting sooo badly to end Mueller's investigation before it is complete shows, more than anything, a real fear of what Mueller has come up with and/or will come up with. Let the guy do his job and if no collusion is found I'm sure everyone will be happy. Meanwhile, there is still the issue of knowing exactly what happened with the Russian meddling, collusion or not. That alone is worth the investigation, assuming you value your democracy, which clearly is not the case for many in the GOP and their supporters and is absolutely and obviously not the case with Herr Trumpler.

Yes, they're too busy passing a single bill in a year and a half to confirm new Drumpf appointees every three weeks when people finally snap and call him a moron to his face.

The house found no collusion after 14 months of investigating the issue.

Mueller has found no collusion, Schiff has no evidence of collusion to present, but that doesn't stop him from making vague assertions amid cries of 'it's the end of the world'.

No ones trying to block any investigation although Trump could end it in a New York minute if he so chose but he hasn't, has he.

Why? Because there was no collusion! Now the cry from the Democrats is " ahhh, but what about obstruction,". When that fails there'll be another ridiculous mantra for the sheep to hitch their coat tails to.

There are plenty of lying **** bags, those who oppose Trump, who are trying to subvert democracy, but the chickens are coming home to roost and thankfully heads are starting to roll.

And this is just the beginning lol.
