UFC fighters that have missed weight in 2018

Recommended Posts

are now 6-0 this year with 3 stoppage victories

is it time to strengthen the punishments? 10% of your fight purse is not enough clearly, should be 50% and there should be proper notice ahead of time so they can make the bout a catch weight

if you miss weight I am no longer a fan

this one was 20, but the UFC covered 10% of it

clear favoritism shown here, encourages her to do it again, and chits all over Yair while guys like nate and nick can turn down every fight offer and get paid for 3 fights a year

Pico looked good last night tho

The penalty depends on the location and it's the athletic commission that decide.

Usually it's 20% of show money but there are variations.

The California State Athletic Commission for example insist of 20% of show and win money. Of course this is assuming that the fatty wins.

They aren't undefeated because they missed weight, they're undefeated because they're smart. Only dummies make weight in 2018

Evidently the only time it's completely necessary to make weight is for the title fight. It seems like fighters don't mind having 10% of their purse forfeited in order to gain the advantage.

Why would Romero cut weight when he was fighting Luke ? What for ?

He couldnt win the INTERIM *** TITLE .. big ** deal! The real important thing was to win and get the next title shot so why cut the weight properly ?

Same for Dern .. she won, lost some $ but in the end of the day she won and will most likely go up on rankings anyways

Yoel missed by a couple of lbs though, and tried to lose the excess. Dern just rolled off the scale once, she knew what she was doing and didn't try to lose chit. I wouldn't compare the 2 even though the results were the same

Romero had a fight scheduled at the time, and he had like a month to cut weight.

He does not get a pass.

If you miss weight you should be forced to weigh in before a the fight to make sure you do not go even more over the weight limit. Dern walked into that fight at around 150-60 easy, her folds had folds, her **** became her back

Just watched it.  Damn the size difference looked tremendous.  No excuse for being that fat when you are not heavyweight.  Layers of fat on her neck, stomach, back, thighs...
