Recommended Posts

Someone please tell me how Whittaker won. I want facts, not opinions, because I can tell you how Romero won.

I thought it was a draw too.

If looked at as a full fight and who got their @ss kicked more i'd say Whitagoat barely lost.

Romero banked on fighting for 2 rounds but he couldn't finish and thus lost 3 rounds to 2

He easily won 3 rounds, the third round went to Romero but isn't a 10-8 because Whittaker had retaken control by the end of the round and even landed that big headkick after being rocked.

You could argue the fifth is a 10-8, but if this isn't your first time watching MMA then you know they almost never give 10-8 rounds.

There's no way in hell Romero wins. At best he gets a draw.

LMFAO only in this sport can you get knocked down and diggled but still win because you're white and landed a few jabs

The fact was 2 judges gave it to Whittaker, so he wins..... also makes it 2-0 Whittaker, FACTS

All the Yoel nut huggers can suck it, he never won that fight, the best he could have hoped for was a draw.

You salty Vert didn't taking you camping or something?

Lets hope we don't see a Illinois card for a long time.

Esparza and Yoel was just garbage judging.

Arvloski debatable.

That 5th could have been a 10-7.

Nobody deserved to lose that fight. Should have been a draw.

Whittaker literally didn't hurt him once, jabs don't win fights

Like Yoel said, he could fight him 10 times! Whittaker doesn't want to fight him again lol

I guarantee I could finish Punk in under five mins.

I’m currently 162 and injured. Even I would crack him proper standing. The size difference would likely not work out for me grounded though.

He’s terrible. Stomp is the A side in Punk’s backyard debut. Punk can donate his $200 purse to a charity of my choice.

when you're 2-0 against a cheat you don't need to give them a third. It's done.

For those that are worried about the "injustice" of all of this, remember that Romero missed weight for this fight for the second time in a row.

Although they are not technically allowed to do this, I could see a judge factoring this in when rendering their decision.

The hell is going on with Fatstelum?

He’s got some personal issues that he seriously needs to take care of,” promotion president Dana White said about Gastelum, who was supposed to be the back-up plan for the UFC 225 main event (after this). “It’s some **** he needs to get together and handle. Quick.”

Think jackson would have gotten away with that showboating in the 2nd if he had come out & killed him in the 3rd. I think Joe is right, he got payed off to let the fight go the distance.

Funny situation with Cm punk now, hes still a name but who the hell would ever want to see him fight again, it was not good. All the hype evaportated the first time.

Overroid needs to think seriously about his future, join Bellator or some other beta org where he stands a chance or retire.

Rashad Evans as always should retire.

Yoel vs Rob should have been a draw & a third fight, personally think Yoel should have gotten the W, did pretty well considering the lead up to the fight & his weird eye injury mid way through the fight forced him to drop his steady pace & try to put Rob out but also Rob broke his hand. Unless theres someone amazing whos earned their title shot in the picture, i think a rematch with these 2 would be good & a #1 contender fight for the other top guys... kelvin?

lol Kelvin has even less yolo striking than Yolo does, Rob will pick him apart til his standard 3rd round gas out then put him away easily.

Rob needs to push to fight GSP in a stadium in Oz and truly unify that MW belt
