So who beats Woodley?

Recommended Posts

Yeah Usman could do it and i believe that even Tyrone feels that is his best competition.

Rory sort of made it look easy so if this guy is not roiding then GSP should also make it look easy. However i believe since that loss that Tyrone is not the same guy but then again who in this sport is not popping some pills of some kind.

He mentioned as did i notice that he wasn't even breathing after that barrage he laid out onto Till, does it make sense nope not at all, especially a guy with a lot of muscle,he should have been breathing very hard.SO then what EPO hmm maybe ,never discredit ANY theory until known otherwise.

last i heard albeit a few years back that EPO wasn't even tested for but not sure.I do remember this though, remember when Tyrone was pissed at White and vice versa and said he would reveal some damning news,i believe that was the truth and that Tyrone has something on the UFC that we would all like to know about.

Hmmmm very true

Woodley might be perfectly healthy for that

Maybe so, but I have a feeling T Wood might not be in that big a hurry. I'm not seeing the MSG card, more like Vegas at the end of the year.

Let's be honest, Mike Perry isn't well rounded enough.

You have to be the complete package to beat Woodley
So who is the complete package.

GSP? lol

Nick Diaz could walk in and slap him around and take his belt easily

I think Woodley is too fast for Nick, and wouldn't be afraid to put it on him though.

God this is an awful post.

He has all the attributes of what it takes to beat Woodley.

- pressure striker, accurate with high volume

- excellent gas tank

- excellent chin

- great TDD

- solid fight iq

definitely a stretch but hardly beyond the realms of possibility

I ain't hating on Nick, but he hasn't beaten a WW for 7 years.  He also got taken down at will by Diego Sanchez.  I therefore, with great reluctance, have to agree with NoCake.  He is not the man to dethrone Woodley.

Given the evidence you have provided was from roughly 13 years ago I regretfully request that you please take a seat wherever it's most convenient.

13 years ago is ~ 2 fights in Diaz years.

As a man who partakes in ludicrus distance movement without appropriate vehicle activities, you would obviously understand the benefits that completing multiple triathlons in such a vast timeframe would bring to a master the calibre of Sir Nicholas, particularly in the TDD category. I mean how many times have you been taken down since you began uber-jogging? If I was to hazard a guess I'd say your TDD % is well into the 90's

Whittaker or gastelum if they dropped to 170 would be good.

Gastelum said on fs1 that he wasn't finished at 170 yet

Whittaker got run over by Wonderboy at 170. lol.. Woodley would kill him.

Nick Diaz wouldn't get clipped or choked like that British chump.  Mike Perry WILL serve him the hands after he flatlines  Plank.  Tyquil is getting old and one good performance against a British middleweight in 3 years doesn't mean much.  Darrell ate that right hand and all of those grounded elbows after cutting to 169.  He'd walk right through Tyrone at their natural weight class, MW.

askren would get bodied imo, no standup and woodley has the wrestling to keep it on feet.

Usman gets bodied cause his standup is pretty ****.

Only guy who has a chance is covington cause he can keep the pressure on constantly but hes probably going to get KOd

After the Till fight most interested to see him fight Usman.

Something about Colby where I just can't see him being able to hang with Woodley's power.

The Diaz talk is crazy, everyone's getting a superfight but man I really hope this isn't Tyron's idea of one.

Put everything on Woodley for the next three years and you will have a nice retirement chunk.

Facts:  Woodley is fast, strong and powerful with division 1 wrestling credentials.  He fights like a wrestler at a wrestling match..and that means he's cautious and waiting for the right opportunity.  This guy is the next Mayweather.  He will win but it will be boring.
