If this latest interview is anything to go by Jones better get ready from another visit from USADA because he must have been high as **** before he came away with a lot of this lol.

Former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones was recently handed a 15-month suspension by the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA). This suspension is retroactive to a July, 2017 failed drug test, which means Jones could fight again as soon as early November.

Ahead of his anticipated comeback, Jon Jones seems to have a wealth of options available in the UFC light heavyweight division, from his former opponent Alexander Gustafsson to his arch rival Daniel Cormier. Yet Jones is looking far beyond the division he once ruled.

Speaking to RT Sport this week, the former champion divulged that he’s interested in heavyweight showdowns with UFC stars like Cain Velasquez and Francis Ngannou. In fact, he also mentioned potential battles with heavyweight boxers Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder. Jones believes these are the kinds of fights the fans want to see him in.

“I’m kind of in this space now where I feel like I don’t really have things to prove in the cage,” Jon Jones said ( via The Mac Life). “I just knocked out Daniel Cormier in my last fight, and some people consider him to be the best fighter that ever lived, so I don’t really feel like I have that much to prove, as far as being a light heavyweight champion and defending that belt.

“Right now my mindset is more about making money, even those big fights, you know, I watched Conor McGregor fight Floyd Mayweather, and it was high risk, high reward,” Jon Jones continued. “There’s a saying, ‘scared money don’t make money’. I gotta be brave when I get back in the game, and start challenging guys that I could possibly lose to, because that’s what people want to see.

“They want to see Jones versus Velasquez, they want to see Jones versus Ngannou, that’s what people want to see, and that’s where my mindset is – Jones versus Anthony Joshua, or Deontay Wilder, you know, that’s what people want to see.”

Jon Jones would get his head knocked into the crowd by any of those guys. He got boxed up by LOL Alexander Gustafsson.

Jones is afraid to fight in his natural weight class ans would die against most UFC HWs.

He gave the current HW champ the Jordan cry face twice tho.

HW boxers actually have a decent shot at MMA

if former NFL players can ****ing do it and be succesful, I'm sure as hell a boxer could become Champ (as long as Daddy DC isn't holding the belt that is)

i went to a 800 student highschool , small, and some of the kids on the football team and other teams we played were on the juice

if you really think a lot of fighters take stuff you are naive. and i mean the ones that dont get caught.

It started with test and regular anabolics, moved to weight cutting and water depleting supplements, now into sarms and other advanced compounds. Tiger Woods was taking stuff in Golf.... you dont think guys that are fighting in a cage for money arent finding ways around the rules for a competitive advantage?

No, no they do not.....

I disagree.  Roids and I would love to witness his beautiful death at the hands of Joshua or Wilder.  Dude can't box for chit and he's talking about taking on dudes with 98% KO rates... lol.

Jon is delusional.  Wink claims he's afraid to eat out because a waiter or bus boy that doesn't like him might spike his food with steroids...

His range is so bad that he gets boxed up by a guy that is 5'9", that fight vs Wilder would be over in the first

I do still think Jones is the best MMA fighter we've ever seen. He's out struck anyone put in front of him and hell, he even out wrestled DC. At heavy weight I also don't see any fighter who would give him much problems. That being said, he could get himself killed if he fought any top 10 heavy weight boxer, let alone Joshua or Wilder. Would love to see it though!
