ESPN writer Marc Spears said Wiggins is soft because he's from Canada

“I don’t know if anybody in the West is shaking in their boots,” said Spears about Minnesota before quickly pivoting to the one that they call “Maple Jordan.”

“If perhaps Wiggins would have grown up in the States instead of Canada, maybe he’d be a lot tougher.”

Um, what? Seriously, what did we do to you, Mr. Unnecessary-middle-initial?

Immediately after that statement came out of his mouth, Nichols cut in.

“Oh boy, wow,” she said. “Why do you have to go insulting an entire country like that?”

“Because they make good comedians, but they don’t make toughness,” Spears responds.

Lol

How are Detroit doing this year with Blake Griffin? I loved watching them back in the day with Billups, Rip and Wallace but never get round to watching any basketball these days.

He's as inconsistent and frustrating as ever. When he's on he's great, but when he's not, Drummond is looking at him like Marcellus Wallace looked at Zed at the end of pulp fiction.

Paul George is putting up numbers, Russ has lost his shot but is facilitating well, Stephen Adam is having a career season.  OKC are playing as a good team right now

Sadly, Candace Parker is watching more basketball than Kenny Smith. I believe that's who were talking there.

Harden does that two or three times a game.

I don't know anybody that's stopped watching because of missed calls. lol

That **** has been happening since I was a kid. Dwyane Wade and Manu Ginobili brought it to the next level with the "Eurostep". It used to be called a "traveling violation".

Magic Johnson to Lonzo a year ago: "Just leave me 1 or 2 records. Don't break all my records"

...a year later Lonzo is closing in on worst FT % record. Dude shooting 47% at the line is worse than Shaqs career numbers.

Both of their jumpshots are broke.

Wall's heel is broke... And the Knicks finna be broke when they sign him this year. @AndyWang will get his jersey when he gets there doe, and he'll be a good fit feeding Zinga with TH Jr freeing up his time

Is anyone buying this Harden MVP bs? Stat sheet loading foul flopping piece of chit that he is.

That 57 yesterday... Rockets had it in the bag before the 4th started and could easily have cleared the bench, instead Harden stays on and takes every shot literally to load the stat sheet.

Remember last year, when Klay hit 60 points in 29 minutes before 3 quarter time then sat on the bench? Or when he hit 14 3's with nearly a quarter left? Stat loading glory chasers rustle me big time

Harden’s team is horrible and his 3 best teammates are hurt.

Anyway, Atlanta just dropped 142 on OKC (the league’s best defense). Their young core is really exciting

They've taken calling offensive fouls on Harden out of the game too it seems,  he should have 13 fouls by now

Kristaps Porzingis traded to the Mavs.

The Mavericks will reportedly acquire Tim Hardaway Jr. and Courtney Lee in the deal, while sending Dennis Smith Jr., DeAndre Jordanand Wes Matthews. It will open up salary space for the Knicks.

The Knicks would also receive future first-round draft compensation from the Mavericks and, by shedding the contracts of Hardaway and Lee, create the salary-cap space this summer to pursue two maximum contract free agents
