Saw where Pikachu earned 20 million to Endgames 16 million last night but theyre still predicting Endgame to win the weekend 62 million to Pikachus 58 million. Where do they come up with these metrics.

No idea, I understand a lot of people buy tickets in advance but I assume most just show up on the weekend.

It looks like Endgame is holding #1 over Picachu this weekend.

In 2019, Rose would have jumped off the raft into the water bitϲhing about how she doesn't need a man to save her.

Only 60 million over the last week/long memorial day weekend. Saw predictions it will likely be a 20-30 million swing either way, above or below Avatar. I can't help but feel like this is Robert Sparks's fault.

Read somewhere that Disney has all but killed the marketing because they actually dont want it to break Avatars record at this point. Since its Disney owned and they have 4 sequels lined up, they want to still market Avatar as the biggest movie in history.

Might have to start a 5 stages of grief thread for tuf at this rate.

lol tbf, Avatar had to re-release Avatar to get that number. Endgame will beat Avatar's original release earnings and hold every other record Avatar had but I just read where it's basically a mathematical improbability that Endgame beats Avatar without a re-release.

how does it keep growing if it's out of theaters?

Just read it was down to less than 1,000 theaters before it rereleased a couple weekends ago back to 2,000 theaters but was already down to 1,400 theaters this last weekend and will lose even more than that this weekend with Lion King coming out. They finna re-release the re-release.

Yeah I've seen Avatar and Endgame once each, haven't had even a twinge of interest in watching either one again.

Avatar gets a lot of credit for being a videophiles wet dream years ago. It's a nice looking movie no doubt but cringe otherwise.

Marvel movie have been horrible for the most part. I do love all the Cap movies though.
