Finally a decent (on paper) card.

The 2 mains are walkovers but I will enjoy seeing Jorge knocking out Askren 3 more times

Luke probably going to post against the cage with his hands down so Jan can knock his head off

Claudia has really dropped off the radar

This is a decent card, but it pales in comparison to the actual most important show on Saturday night:

Kenta vs. Ibushi makes this entire card look like trash.

What an idiotic statement.

They both weigh 205 for 12 seconds of their lives, you goof. When DC and Jones step in the cage, every single time they're at HW. It's a HW fight.

that's just simply not true, DC has stated numerous times that the weight cut depletes him during fight camp and drastically alters his power, lets not pretend like dropping 40 pounds of water weight within a few weeks time span doesn't alter power, endurance

It's literally all true.

DC depletes himself to make 205 pounds for 12 seconds of his life.

When he steps inside of the cage, he is well over the LHW limit. Both of them are. So yes, it's 110% true, whether you like it or not. They've fought at HW twice now. Fact.

The argument you're attempting to make is that if DC has 30 pounds more of food inside of him, somehow that will mean he can beat Jon Jones. That doesn't make sense to me, but to each his own.

DC is fat though, cutting 140 lbs would mean he's in better shape. He looked sloppy and tired in that Stipe fight

Jones vs DC at heavyweight just means DC is going to be fatter and slower. It's an easier fight for Jon

Cringe @ people who think DC is magic because he ate some fried foods the week of the fight.

Decent ? I cant believe Im saying this but no, this a great card on paper.

You are one of my favs members m8 but main and co main will NOT be a walk for Jones or Amanda. I think they will win but it will be closer than people think imo especially for Amanda.

@Mcmax3000 why do you have a club penguin character as your av?

It's from the cover of some like Linux Hacking for Dummies book or something along those lines. I don't have the full picture anymore to remember the exact title.

It's a penguin in a hoodie sitting at a computer.

Agreed. For Jones the only guys I want to see fight him are the ones with big power, because that's the only way anyone is going to beat him. No one's going to beat him technique for technique. Outside of Francis, I think Santos might be the most intriguing matchup for Jones in the whole UFC

Jonny walker and alexander rakic you mean

Johnny Walker sucks. Rakic is okay, but again, doesn't have the power to compete with Jon

Rampage had plenty of power, didn't mean much.

But he was too slow and non athletic for Jones .. Santos got a good combo of power and speed.

I'm not saying everyone with power can beat Jon, I'm saying that you NEED power to beat Jon. It's a prerequisite, not a guarantee, dummy

I think Santos has the skills and heart to compete with Jones, I hope he breaks both of JBJ's chicken legs in the first 2 rounds.

Which is why Jones ducks HW. Stipe would starch him.

Jones couldn't fooking walk after that fight. Rampage came the closest to beating the GOAT.

I'm going to whinge about Chiesa's first name being misspelled in the OP.   I award my self +5 hating-to-impress-other-haters-points.

Santos has lost to lesser people than Rampage or Jones. He has speed and power but he's not on their level and is chinny

The real question is, which obnoxious entrance will Jon Jones utilize this time. The blind twirl while too close to everyone?

TornParallelFoxhound-size_restricted.gif

Or perhaps an old classic - crawl down to the octagon, into the cage and then through the first minute of the fight

UFC-135-Jones-Jackson-gif-1-knees.gif

Or maybe something new and even more retarded.

Best card on paper we've had in a while IMO. The last shred of love for this garbage "sport" is hanging on with this card.

Next card's main event - Germaine de Randamie vs Aspen Ladd.

We need to savor 239 for real.

I find it insulting to the fora that we have to make picks on this upcoming BS card.

It used to be just the Chinese can cards that we had those kind of headliners. Now they got these chicks headlining in California FFS.
