Cain still in denial

Rewatched the fight at quarter speed and he looks fine till that shovel uppercut in tight

What are him and his corner seeing?

Denial in that he is still not acknowleding the uppercut as the damaging punch.

He gets brushed on the back of the head as Ngannou brings his arm back after missing his shot, pretty sure that's not what did it

Ngannou knocked that can dead with a shovel hook. He barely clipped him, but Cain was getting boxed up Fabricio f'in Werdum, so I don't know why that's surprising to anybody.

I'm actually glad Cain has come out and said that he just got KTFO. Nothing wrong with saying he was rocked before the final shot put him to sleep - it's probably true, if he can even remember what happened.

It was his trainer, Javier Mendez, who was making excuses about Ngannou hitting him with illegal shots and all that nonsense.
