  1. Prob won't be a blip on the radar this moment. But. Wait until all other search engines comply. If they got Google to comply, everyone else will be following suit. Then pirating really starts to go underground again. The masses don't differentiate between an actual website and the search engine they are using. Millions will just choose not to partake in pirating if the ease is taken away. This is also coinciding with Combating Online Infringement and Counterfeits Act which could (in a nutshell) give the government the power to remove these sites all together. The ****'s submitted to Google, Google submits the list to the Government, rinse, repeat.
  2. Click the 2nd link about the cease and desist from UFC to Google. It also shows the list of sites they submitted to Google and the sites they demand shut down. If you are finding your fights on the list then you prob will be having a harder time. What is also interesting and I didn't know, the UFC was doing this alongside with the Music and Movie Industries. Kind of a joint attack on Google to comply. When it was reported to the MMA community, not one reporter mentioned this.
  3. This may not seem UFC related, but if you recall, UFC issued a cease and desist on any site infringing the UFC. I know it's only a single search engine, but it's the biggest one. Is it the end of piracy? Nope, but another step towards it. Rumor is all other search engines will be expected to follow suit. Your take? http://www.rollingstone.com/music/news/68404/239187 http://www.cagepotato.com/zuffa-serves-google-cease-and-desist-letter
  4. Even if initially he wasnt fired though, I dont think he;s making a good case for himself by threatening to call up Coker. Interested to see how this turns out.
  5. http://www.bloodyelbow.com/2010/11/22/1829498/shane-carwin-tweets-wow-ufc-could-not-follow-user-you-have-been This would be the saddest day in Heavyweight history
  6. That's a big set of balls. Gratz man. Hope you put some $$$$ down on that predict too.

  8. Haven't till now. That video is actually pretty bad a**. I seriously thought this was a joke or in the wrong forums. Wonder what Godsmacks relationship is with the UFC? I smell a new theme song.
  9. http://mmajunkie.com/news/19070/roy-nelson-vs-junior-dos-santos-in-the-works-for-ufc-117-main-card.mma?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed:+mmajunkie+(MMAjunkie.com+Feed)&utm_content=Google+Reader This makes sense, kinda/sorta. I don't think Nelson should be considered in the same league as Dos Santos, but the alternative is that he is shelved until the Lesnar/Carwin/Valesquez ordeal is sorted out.
  10. http://thefilmstage.com/2010/01/08/joe-carnahans-a-team-trailer/ Video is grainy, according to the site, this was only available in Canada, they rip it and now its available to the world.....but it's grainy. Watch it before it goes bye bye. Id watch it. At first I wasn't interested, the trailer changed my mind. Looks like a good popcorn flick. Nothing more, nothing less. Oh and there are 1 or 2 Rampage one liners in the trailer. I would have thought he would have gruffed his voice up more to sound like Mr T, but he didn't......its sounds more like....surprise....Rampage. The tank getting blown from the airplane scene sold me (just watch it). It's cheese, but I didn't expect some mind bending story or realistic action in this movie.
  11. Watch Daley vs Jake Shields. That fight was in EliteXC only about 2 years ago. Watch how easily it was to take Daley down in the first and second, how easy it was for Shields to get full mount both rounds and the eventual armbar. Watch Daley vs Goat Thompson. Though he is a good wrestler, he pales in comparison to Fitch or Koscheck. Goat controlled him for 3 rounds for the decision. McLovin put together a horrible strategy against Daley but he could have beat him easily had he of went for a single leg and got him down. To Daley's credit, he is one of the best standup fighters, but he has never proven competent vs. wrestlers or JJ (fighters that choose to use JJ). They match him against Fitch and he will not advance any further.
  12. First I just wanted to say how much I appreciate you taking the time to come here and say anything. Very few UFC fighters take the time to come here to say anything and aside from the cheesy meet and greets this would definitely be the greatest avenue to connect with your fans. Been a fan since the KOTC days. The punch you did to Struve when that tall boy did his version of the flying knee was priceless (one of the finest punches to watch in slo mo). The JJ defense in the first was great and I think most fighters would have lost to Struve the way he had the body triangle on you. I had the first round Struve and round 2 and 3 to the Headhunter. Really liked what Thomas Gerbasi wrote about you in the "Ten Best - Losses of 2009" blog, heres a bit of it http://www.ufc.com/index.cfm?fa=news.detail&gid=33942
  13. From one of the most exciting prospects to someone who got more exercise running than Forrest did after his loss to Silva, The Assassin has been cut by the UFC. Another no brainer addition to Strikeforce. Merry Christmas all. http://mmajunkie.com/news/17160/ufc-to-cut-houston-alexander-following-kimbo-slice-loss.mma?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed:+mmajunkie+(MMAjunkie.com+Feed)&utm_content=Google+Reader
