  1. It had to happen someday. If my memory doesn't fail me, He did say a couple of times in the past that he won't be fighting for very long and has plans for a second career. Well, I might need to ask an admin to let me change my user name I guess? So what was your reaction? Mixed... on one hand I surely wanted to see him fight a couple of more guys. On the other hand I'm happy he retires with the belt, leaving records that will take some time to break. I'm sure he'll still be involved in someway (even if only with helping tri-star) with MMA.

  3. Nope... he knows there's a couple of guys he just can't beat at WW
  4. I'd be shocked if Hendricks doesn't win this decisively. He's also the most deserving WW.
  5. I'd vote - Don't... Nate belongs at LW.

OH SNAP SON!!!! You told him!! Best rebuttal I've seen on these forums in years!! It's "you're" not "your" WHAT!? WHAT!!!!?? *fart noise* Seemed like an appropriate reply at the time Then again, apparently I'm mentally retarded because I have a different opinion... Edit: Btw - you did notice that I gave mad props to a Diaz, right? just sayin'

No. Im sorry I am here to put a stop to this. Nate has been brilliant as of late and I am really happy he is slapping ****es down. Nick has done nothing recently because he is out of love with the sport. So what you have is a relevant fighter in Nate and an irrelevant fighter in Nick. So yes, currently Nate deserves the kudos. However, if we are going skill for skill and fighting ability you cannot seriously say Nate is better than Nick. The people that do say that I KNOW to be trolling. . It's either trolling OR certain members are mentally retarded. Your welcome guys, I just wanted to come and tell you all exactly how the **** it is. Now GTFO. "You're welcome", not "your" I can agree with all of that except the last sentence. Nate often falls apart when things aren't working for him. Nick might not change strategy much but he doesn't get beat up when an opponent is prepared to deal with the problems he presents. I hope to get a chance to put that to the test though. He wasn't overwhelmed with Maynard's initial success on the ground and handled Cowboy on the feet with ease (although I put half of that on Cowboy's weird strategy).

Better Boxing=NickBetter Wrestling=Nick Better BJJ=Nick Better Mixed Martial Artist=Nick Take less damage in fights=Nick Mumbles are a little more coherant=Nick Nick might have better skills on each separate category, but he's been stale and one dimensional for a long while now. Whereas Nate is more well rounded, uses more of his arsenal and adjusts to the fight better than his brother.

Respect to Nate Diaz. I didn't think he'd be able to handle Maynard's wrestling, but I guess I was right about a different thing: NATE >>>>>>> nick Fantastic fight. Nate is still evolving and... wow...
  10. I always did But you misspelled it. It should be - Rispek!
  11. Was away too long to get the joke, but WarWest was my toughest opponent
  12. Hey, I think Hendricks won, and had he got the decision I'd be here congratulating him regardless the situation. Yet that doesn't reduce the amount of but hurt 'round here somethings can never change... it's only sports people... Only sports? You're not a real fight fan I beg to differ... sportsmanlike behavior is to concede defeat. This is not a war. They did hug at the end even though Johnny was (rightfully) pissed off... the fans need to take a chill pill. the number of stupid decisions is mounting to a whole hell of a lot. There's no conspiracy here. It's not the only fight that went the wrong way. You don't concede defeat when you won. The rules are that unless you finish the fight, you win by judges decision. The judges decision was wrong. Too bad for Johnny. I feel for him, but I won't lose sleep over this, nor would I if the situation was reversed. It is only sports... Judges decision was wrong, you said it. Why would he concede defeat? This isn't like soccer where you kick the ball into a net and lose 1-0 clear cut. Did England deserve the world cup in 1966? was there a goal? Did England deserve to be knocked of the world cup by the hand of Maradona? Too bad...
