    MMA Lookalikes

I think that Sam Worthington (actor in Clash of the Titans) looks a lot like James Irvin. What do you think? http://www.mmaontap.com/media/jamesirvin450.jpg http://www.mtv.com/movies/photos/a/avatar_091211/01_sam_worthington.jpg http://www.imdb.com/media/rm2279377920/tt0800320
  2. The other fighters that you are talking about have been fighting a lot longer than Lesnar. He obviously won't be as technical as they are and probably never will be. He makes the weight and uses his wrestling and ground n pound to win fights. Many other fighters do the same thing and people don't ***** about it. Matt Hughes made a HOF career out of it. I think Lesnar figured out what to do pretty quickly. He took Mir down and finished the fight. Your fighter lost, deal with it.
  3. ESPN has been covering the the main events lately. I'm not sure if they do it for every card but I know that they cover the results of title fights. They don't have time for MMA because they need to have air time for the Lumberjack competitions:rolleyes:
  4. Football- Minnesota Vikings Hockey- Dallas Stars Basketball- Don't watch it alot but I follow the Celtics because they have Garnett Baseball- Minnesota Twins
  5. Didn't see anyone bragging about Brock only having one loss in the last 3 years
  6. I agree. Mir could fight JDS. Then after the winner of Carwin/Cain fights brock the winner of Mir/JDS could have a title shot. I will still watch Carwin/Mir though so not that big of a deal.
  7. Most fighters that have fought 5 times are very one dimensional. That's why they train and learn new techniques. He has been a wrestler his whole life so that is what he uses in the octagon right now. I think that a true MMA fan should realize this.
  8. I thought it was one of the best cards in a long time. There were around 7 fights that I wanted to see on that card
  9. I usually go to Buffalo Wild Wings with some friends to watch the fights. We usually have between 8-10 people there. To get a seat you need to be there at least 2 hours before the fights. Overall it costs each person $40-$60 a piece for food and drinks. I think it is more expensive to go to a bar or restaurant but I think it is alot more fun and worth the money.
  10. I have met Travis a couple of times when the bar that I worked at hosted fights for his local organization. He is a very nice and humble guy. Pretty quiet for the most part when I was around him but a totally different in a cage. Fighting 248 times in 13 years is pretty amazing. Sadly I don't think that he has the talent to make it anywhere in the UFC.
  11. They already fought and kimbo knocked tank out in 43 seconds i believe
  12. I agree, did you see tyson in The Hangover or on tv lately. He would need to lose at least 40 pounds to get anywhere close to fighting shape.
  13. I enjoy watching Roger Huerta, Thiago Alves, Rampage, Wanderlei, and Liddell alot.
  14. I think it's bad. When Mir loses to Brock again it will crush him mentally and he will probably retire.
  15. I heard that they were trying to fix that for 2010 so that he could be included.
  16. Has anyone played Dragon Age: Origins yet? I rented it and played 1 of the six stories and it took me forever to beat it just because I did most of the side missions. Not sure if I will buy it and go through the other 5 since I think it's basically the same story with a different perspective.
  17. Mario Kart 64 was a great game too, I still own it. May have to dust off the Nintendo 64 and play it 2nite.
  18. I have a tough time picking one game. New Games: COD MW2 New Sports Games: MLB The Show Old School: Super Tecmo Bowl or Mike Tyson's Punchout

    Tito Ortiz

Tito has poor boxing skills and he is scared of being hit by any decent strikers. All he does is cover up and go for the take down. By the way I like Tito but he has a lot to learn.
