Just make bullets cost 400K a pop. Problem solved.
Sure that way only the super rich could afford the right to defend themselves. Great idea. Peasants have no business enjoying all their natural born rights that thousands of men have fought and died for, right? Let's put a tax on free speech, too. Speech can be used to inspire people to do bad things so let's tax free speech so it costs $400 for a one paragraph permit for all media, print, and public speeches. That would cut down on the crazies out there inspiring other crazies to do goodness knows what, right?
no. there would be mass shootings every day. just we would never hear about it and never realise
that current gun laws might actually be a problem until we see our kids get shot up at school with our very own eyes. .
No. Gun laws are fine. You wanna stop **** like this? Increase screening and help for individuals with mental health problems.
yeah gun laws are just fine. especially when crazy bob can walk out of the local psyche ward, walk down a block and go into jimbo's guns, arm himself into the teeth without them ever even doing a background check or nothing, and then walk into pretty much any school, theater, shopping mall, or any public place where nobody would see it coming, and just start unloading on random innocent people?
how many more random shootings is it going to take before you clowns stop believing its not the shooter thats 100% the problem, but perhaps the relaxed gun laws where everybody and their dog has access to one might have something to do with it too? like **** if your a criminal and cant get access, just find a shady gun store. most of em need money and dont care to do the background checks anyways. if that doesnt work, ask your neighboor. he's got tonnes. or your family...or your baby sister. anybody in america can have easy access to firearms because of how dumb the laws are.
keep denying that gun laws and regulation is part of the problem until its your own kid that gets shot dead. then maybe youll start to think outside of the box and start to see the big picture
Your first sentence proved my point. It wasn't just Bob, it was Crazy Bob. If Crazy Bob had been given the proper facility to help manage his "craziness" and the right care, there should be no reason why he'd be able to get his hands on a gun in the first place.
People are going to die whether you ban guns or not. You know how easy it is to make a bomb these days? I haven't looked but I'm sure Google can give you a hundred different ways to make bombs out of ordinary cleaning materials. So, even if you ban guns, people will either find ways around it or they'll resort to bombs, knives, etc.
The problem comes down to identifying and providing the help needed to manage individuals with mental health issues. That's all it boils down to. You can blame the gun as much as you want but it doesn't pull the trigger by itself. It has an individual with some sort of mental issue pulling it when the target is children.
And your last statement about my own kid being shot and killed. You really think I'm gonna blame the weapon in that crime? No. I'm gonna be going after the son of a **** that killed my child, regardless of whatever in the hell he used.
It's obvious you care nothing for the right to bear firearms. Fine. But don't you and everyone else who thinks like you deny millions of Americans the right to carry them because of one ****ed up individual.
