Peter Petrelli vs Deathstroke

VS

584510-197338_41421_deathstroke_super_super.jpg

Peter Petrelli's abilities: can copy other abilities of people around him permanently. for the sake of this fight he gets the hiro sword.

Deathstroke's abilities, 90% functional brain, allows him to react instantly. and think faster then anyone. and can strategise as he fights. He also has a healing ability, but not quite as advanced as wolverine. For this fight, he will also only have a sword.

Who do you think will win, and HOW?

In speculation' date=' it makes more sense for Peter to win if he can just copy the other guy's abilities. Don't hate, that's who I'm picking.[/quote']

deathstroke is a mercenary who has mastered all forms of weapons including guns, swords, knives explosives etc, as well as unarmed combat. He also has reflexes about the same as a jedi, and heals really fast too, but not as fast as or as much as wolverine,

Peter is a normal guy who all of a sudden finds that he can copy other peoples abilities,

so the questions for this fight are, does peter already have powers from other people? If so, are they enough to cover the skill difference between the two?

Funny how Sylar always owned Peter

that's cos he's the bad guy and what good is a drama tv show if the good guy is always beating the bad guy? the bad guy has to seem like an unbeatable force and the hero has to overcome him somehow.

(BTW i only watched half of season one so i dunno :P)

my point is that peter could copy the abilities just being near someone, but sylar had to really beat them, then cut open their head and learn how to use the ability... or something?? which is why i think deathstroke would have reflexes enough to avoid sylar's powers, and beat him with skill. Whereas peter could gain the reflexes of deathstroke and even out the battle.

Funny how how Sylar learns to take ability without cutting head open in season 3-4

What fictional pieces are these guys out of?

Peter is out of the tv show heroes and could permanently copy other peoples powers, to the point where at one stage he had over ten powers including time travel, flight, invisibility, telekinesis, rapid healing and alot more. However at one point his powers were taken away and he can only copy one power at a time from touch. It's up for speculation which version he is.

Deathstroke is a dc universe comic book villain who has instantaneous reaction times. As in 0:00 reaction times! He is also master of basically all guns and swords etc as well as hand to hand combat. He has bullet proof armor and he can heal fast, as well as move fast and has incredible strength. He singlehandedly beat up the justice league (not including superman, batman or wonderwoman) for a few minutes before finally being caught by 5 superheros at once!

i suppose i should bump this as well, but it seems that the decision will have already been made, but for the sake of the tournament, Peter would be best suited to match up against some of the other fighters who have yet to be announced... lets just say that the power difference between some of the last fighters and the first will be substantial.

Meh... Judges robbed him! Rematch! lol

I don't mind, Deathstroke is a cold hearted mercenary, and Peter is a ***** that spends more time breathing heavy and looking into the distance in shock then actually fighting.

Imagine how much more one sided the votes would be if I gave Deathstroke his guns and explosives.

This fight is ****' date=' neither will win the tournament. End it now![/quote']

your mums bum is ****

lolmad? :D

EDIT: Peter has the potential to match ANYONE in this tournament.

To put Deathstroke into perspective, he has proven equal to others like wolverine, batman and Green Lantern. He has reflexes equal to or greater then Darth Maul, and he has 10x the strength of a regular man. Given the fact that he will have guns in the next fight (not slow mo star wars laser gun pieces of trash) he may be able to pull something off against Maul.. the only person who holds a distinct advantage so far is Phoenix.

Sad thing is I can see Peter taking this whole tournament' date=' but I think Darth Maul would destroy Deathstroke.[/quote']

Peter would be at a disadvantage against artificially enhanced guys like doc ock and wolverine, or even darth maul as peter wouldn't have a light saber and if he did, he can't learn the training Maul has had in how to use it. Styles make fights.

EDIT: BTW I would like to see how Peter can copy the abilities of T Rex lol

Petrelli could have taken Maul... Via having all the skill ever' date=' and learning the force just by fighting Darth Maul.[/quote']

but it takes years to learn how to use the force, lifetimes, plus maul actually has skills with the lightsaber and fighting, Peter doesn't.

Peter can learn the "powers" but not the skills.

Peter knows something is wrong, everything is quiet... too quiet. Trusting his instinct, he uses one of the many powers he has previously learned to turn invisible. He creeps silently towards the nearest wall of the room he is in, and searches the environment to try and find the danger. The dark gloom makes it hard to see the dark shadowy shapes of the furniture filling the large room. He scans the room to try and find anything out of place, the couch, the flapping curtains in the breeze from the open window, the TV unit, the lamp, the coffee table, the elegant railing separating the entertainment area from the rest of the vast space, nothing. He moves silently along the wall towards the door within the safety of his invisibility. As he slowly walks, the old floorboards start to creak underneath his weight...

Deathstroke suddenly stops, his balance perfect high up on the supporting beams of the open roof cavity. He peers down in search of his target, who suddenly without warning vanished from sight. His silent stalking from above quickly coming to a halt in his confusion. He squints as he peers down, in search. He uses his heightened senses to search, listening intensely for any slight noise to give away the location of his target. Suddenly some floorboards creak loudly, he immediately leaps into action and strikes.

Peter hears a noise from above, and looks up to see a strange figure flying towards him with incredible speed, he sees the glimmering falsh of moonlight reflect off the shiny blade of the masked figures deadly weapon, a large sword. Peter leaps aside as the blade is buried deep into the wall he was just standing against. The masked man somehow knows which way he moves and easily lands a lightning fast side kick right into Peters chest.

Deathstroke thrusts his sword out as he leaps through the air, and buries it deep into the wall directly above the floorboards that made the noise. He hears more floorboards creak as the unseen foe sidesteps out of the way, instantly he kicks out with lightning speed and feels his foot bury deep into Peters chest, a loud groan is heard as Peter comes out of his invisible state while flying through the air and crashes violently against a bookshelf and slumps down on the floor. Deathstroke quickly jerks his sword out of the wall and swings it above his head, ready to attack.

Peter looks up as he picks himself up off the ground, he sees the strange attacker begin his attack, and he quickly unsheaths his sword, ready to fight. Deathstroke lunges forward, and strikes down with incredible speed and power, Peter can barely defend against the blows, and uses his previously acquired electric manipulation to generate and shoot deadly electrical projectiles at the enemy.

Deathstroke instantly sidesteps the attack with his instantaneous reactions, and strikes down with more force then before. Peter starts to give out from underneath the tremendous blows. He is on his knees, Deathstroke strikes down again and again. Peter uses his pyrokinesis to shoot a deadly wall of flame and heat, Deathstroke instantly leaps high into the air and easily avoids the raging inferno, and strikes down on his hopeless victim.

Peter sees the abnormal abilities of his foe and tries to absorb his power. Deathstroke lashes out and attacks violently. As Peter starts to feel the powers grow within him, his enemy seems to slow down. Everything becomes more clear, he can almost hear the masked foe's heart beating. His strikes seem to slow right down. He moves his sword up to block the strikes, but it seems only his perception of the world has slown down, not his movement. It becomes easier to defend against the strikes of his enemy as his strength increases. However, his foe is still vastly more skilled with a sword and manages to land a crippling punch to Peters guts.

Deathstroke is swinging down menacingly, trying to break Peters defenses. As he does he sees something strange happen. Peters eyes move quicker then before, more focused. It seems Peter is starting to react to Deathstrokes every move with increasing speed. Instantly he strategizes that he must throw a different move that Peter won't expect, in order to slow him down. He expertly distracts Peter with his sword, and as raises his defences, Deathstroke lands a violent uppercut and knocks the wind out of his target, and Peter falls to his knees.

Peter falls to his knees and gasps for air, searing pain shoots through his entire midsection as he struggles to control the pain. He sees deathstroke ready himself for the killing blow and clenches his eyes tightly shut in an attempt to freeze time and escape.

Deathstroke sees Peter clench his eyes shut, and not knowing what kind of strange abilities Peter has up his sleeves, he strikes downwards as quickly as possible in a stabbing motion directly to the back of Peters neck.

Peter opens his eyes, and looks. Deathstroke is frozen in positon, the clock on the wall has stopped moving, the curtains suspended in midair as they were flapping in the breeze. Peter tries to move, but he cannot. He is as immovable as the enemy that stands over him. He frowns and tries harder to move. He can't feel anything. He starts to panic, and starts trying to look at his hands when he sees a droplet of blood fall from his chin down onto the floor. It is met with another droplet, and another. Soon a steady stream of blood flows and he slowly slips into shock and slumps down face first onto the floor.

Deathstroke watches intently, one minute Peter was on his knees in front of him, next minute, he is slumped face first on the floor in a pool of his own blood. He looks at his sword, there is blood on the tip. He looks at Peter. A small slice is revealed on the back of his neck where the blade cleanly cut through deep into his spine. As he looks he sees the wound starting to heal itself with rediculous speed as peters rapid cell regeneration starts working its magic. With instant reactions, Deathstroke knows he must permanently remove the life source from the body to stop the healing ability. He grabs Peter by the hair and cleanly removes his head from the rest of his body, and disposes of it in an isolated alleyway as he makes his way to his hideout to retrieve some firearms and explosives for his next battle...
