Machida pretty is going to destroy Ryan Bader.

Return of the Dragon.

This is Machida's fight to lose all day long. There is not one aspect of Bader's skill set that is superior to Machida's.

Machida is faster, better striker, better grappler (ya, just because Bader is a good wrestler doesn't mean he's going to get Machida down and keep him there).

Bader's only chance is to catch Machida coming in, which is not easy, and only Shogun and Jones have managed to do so.

Machida is one of the most talented fighters in the entire UFC. He's really only lost twice. Shogun (KO) and Jones (Sub'd). Rampage was not a decisive loss.

If Bader pulls off an upset' date=' it will be via overhand right or left hook KO as Machida sets up a kick. Right before Machida throws a kick he drops the hand on the side of whichever leg he's kicking with.[/quote']

True, but he's also out of immediate punching range when he kicks, and if Bader does counter, he won't land hard enough to TKO/KO him.

Rampage defeated Machida too.

Just saying.

Machida nor Rua deserve a title shot. NONE OF THEM.

Gustufsson and Bonnar deserve it more in my opinio of the situation. They are actually on winstreaks and i think winstreaks should count, not losing streaks or fighter popularity.

Also Bonnar lost to Jones by decision , all the rest got owned, submitted and knocked out by Jones.

I honestly think it's going to be Machida who gets the title shot this coming Saturday. That most recent picture of him he has never been that lean and in shape before, i think he is going to kill Bader in the 1st or 2nd round at latest. Vera make no mistake is a legit fighter, especially at 205 where he doesn't have to deal with a huge size disadvantage not to mention he is a very LENGTHY kind of guy which has been pretty helpful for a lot of fighters lately. Shogun will take the fight, but Vera is coming in shape and he sounds ready i think he will make it a challenge no doubt.

I been calling this 5 months in advance before you joined. Blee dat. Ryan Bader by Overhand Right Knock Out.

Bader has a tremendous amount of power so I don't discount this one bit. Machida lost against Shogun from an overhand right (maybe more of a hook, but high). The skill difference between this two is great IMHO, putting Machida at an advantage. Bader hasn't managed to land that big right against a top 10 opponent. I'm rooting for Bader so I'll keep my fingers crossed.
