Without 17 times the normal amount of testosterone Sonnen is a can with no gas tank.

Silva easily beats him 99 times out of 99.

did you even watch the fight, sonnen doiminated silva in the first round just like the first fight, sonnen was winning the fight before he wiffed on the elbow spin

because sonnen was in it only for the press and media attention so there would be a massive gate and PPV buy so he would get a cut of that dough.

Agree with you but since you mentioned that I dont get it WHY YOU MADE THIS THREAD THEN ?

Honestly, this whooole thing about Silva vs Sonnen was set since day one !!! Somehow set I mean.

Just look at that way: You easily got facts and pics on Silvas foul and how in the world wouldnt Sonnens team had done the same right ? Use these pics, fouls, etc and promote Silva vs Sonnens 3 would make sense.

I (Silvas fan not for MMA origin but because Im brazilian) even wasnt sure about how that fight didnt finish as a DQ and a imediate rematch didnt happen, seriously.

Would make perfect sense, wouldnt hurt Silvas or Sonnen "legacy" and Silva/Sonnen 3 would happen in a perfect scenario and a bunch of $$$ would come to UFC pocket again !!

No matter what ppl say .. Something wasnt just right about the whole thing about Silva vs Sonnen period.

Solid thread TS, Amazing how the evidence is right in front of everyone's eyes and yet the silva huggers still attempt to make excuses. Here is more irrefutable evidence regarding the illegal knee silva threw in the 2nd. Feel free to add to the OP.

The knee did not hit him in the head. Andrson did pull the shorts, but so did Sonnen. Applying excessive grease on the body is illegal during a fight. grease was not added to Silvas body it was transfered. Furthermore, the fight hadn't even started, so nothing illegal happened during the fight. You also forgot to mention the four illegal strikes to the back of Silvas head thanks to Chael.

PS: Get over it. Chael got stomped and is now irrelevant.

Thanks for the pic. It is obvious that the knee struck his chest, so there was no foul.

But Sonnen still lost in both cases. Such is the case for those who only follow point fighting to believe that the person who LOST in two separate fights would care at all whether a person was winning or not.

Chael created the worst foul in the sport>>>>CHEATING.

He cheated how many fighters out of thousands of dollars?Without cheating he may very well be a losing type fighter that might have NEVER got a chance at even the UFC let alone a title shot.

He owes all his former wins their fair share of the money for cheating them.He obviously cheated because he KNEW he needed to,nobody puts steroids on their weekend to do list.

the THIGH PART OF THE LEG did hit face

Anatomically the thigh is not part of the leg. The leg is located between the knee and the foot. The thigh is located above the knee. They are anatomically distict. A strike with the foot or leg is defined as a kick' date=' while a strike with the knee is defined as a knee strike.

Show me in the rules where thigh strikes are illegal. Here is the definition of a kick.

[b']In combat sports and hand-to-hand combat, a kick is a physical strike using the foot, leg, or knee (the latter is also known as a knee strike). [/b]

The human leg is the entire lower extremity or limb[1][2] of the human body, including the foot, thigh and even the hip or gluteal region; however, the precise definition in human anatomy refers[3][4][5] only to the section of the lower limb extending from the knee to the ankle.

The idea that the leg is the entire lower extremity is incorrect. Wikipedia doesn'tsupercede medical texts. The anatomical defintion is the only legit definition.

Clearly it's not something simple if certain parts of your leg all of a sudden don't count as part of your leg when you're kicking.

A kick is defined as being with the leg (between the knee and foot) or the foot. The thigh is not a part of the leg, so the strike was legal. It seems pretty simple unless you hellbent that something unethical transpired. In that case, I guess you can disregard technical defintions in favor of creating your own.

Well every definition of thigh I've seen says it's part of the leg.
