King_Can
Since Andersons management came out and said they will not be fighting Weidman... who deserves to be the next challenger? IMO its either the winner of bisping/stann or belfort/belcher. Maybe even Match Weidman and Boestch for #1 contender? I hope its not Franklin or Diaz... I really hope the winners of both fights have to fight for the spot, I am sick of Anderson only fighting once a year.

MMAJess
The problem with the MW division is that there isn't a real #1 contender. Silva is tops in the division, clearly better than everyone else, and then there are a bunch of mid-level guys. Nobody has separated from the pack. I think Silva should just come out and say "I dominated the division and there's no challenges left, so I'm retiring the belt." Then he can either have a couple superfights, or move to 205. zaksame
I said it long ago>>>>Belcher because he has a complete game and the power to make Silva afraid.Silva will always have the speed advantage,he is an equal to GSP in that area but Belcher isn't a Frank Mir either. He had it easy with Sonenn because Phael has no gnp,no elbows basically no clue, just a very simple wrestler.Belcher is one up in all of those areas. As long as you have some striking power ,Silva has shown to fight in fear.Look at his match with Cote,he was reluctant the whole match until Cote finally blew his knee out. I know this much if Carmont improves at all,Silva had better look for another sport.Lucky for Silva i feel Carmont needs 3 good fights to be ready,Silva will probably be gone by then.
