FOTY is locked

I just watched Lauzon vs. Varner. That is definitely gonna be FOTY, and nobody's gonna beat that. It was an epic technical brawl on the feet, lots of damage done with the punches from both men, and the grappling is some of the best I've seen in a while. Exactly what I'd expect from the two fighters.

It was sick, nobody's beating that. Glad even though Varner lost, he gets a piece of the spotlight, and didn't embarrass himself going down. As a matter of fact, Varner may have been winning up until round 3. Hard to say with a close round 2.

Amazing fight though, that's definitely gonna go down in my favorite fights of all time.

Wicked late to this party. Lauzon won round 2, round 3 was learning towards Lauzon as well.

I'm not sure if this beats Zombie vs Poriere ( don't know how to spell his damn name). Its def one of the two though.

The head runners for fight of the year are easily Poirier vs Zombie and Lauzon vs Varner but Henderson vs Diaz has a really good chance of taking it and with Bellator putting out fights like Curran vs Patricio, Falcao vs Shlemenko, Luis Nogueira vs Eduardo Dantas, I wouldn't be so sure yet. We have half the year to go, don't think anything has been so outstiding that it's a lock for KO, SUbmission or fight.

PS: I didn't really enjoy Griffin vs Bonnar or Shogun vs Henderson.

I'd give Foty to Poirier vs Zombie. The Momentum was shifting back and forth alot more' date=' also it was starting to look like Poirier might win the fight when Jung turned it up one last time.[/quote']

What the **** were you watching?

After the start of that fight it was all the Korean Zombie. It was sad.
