Imagine if Frankie was the first 3 division champion?! WAR FRANKIE!!!

I personally think Aldo could beat him Frankie was tore up with low kicks in round 1 of the Bendo fight but Ben went away from them Aldo would not make that mistake.

I do however think Frankie could beat Faber and Cruz. Barao is the only Bantamweight i would give a chance to beat Edgar.

It could be a factor, but I think Frankie would see it coming. I think Frankie easily beats Aldo.

lol at u comparing the weight cuts of Jones and Silva to Frankie. They have a lot more to work with. Frankie would be so emaciated at 135 it wouldn't be healthy. Maybe early in his career but his body has filled out too much. Think he could make 145 though and would like to see him make the drop.

Na. WAR FRANKIE!!!

All you noob kiddies who think things like Nate Diaz was best at 170lbs and Rich Franklin was best at 205lbs because you listened to Joe Rogan and Dana White are the same who will now think Daniel Cormier is better at 205lbs and Frankie Edgar is better at 145/135lbs and you will see....like you did then you are wrong and I am right. So quote this, mark it whatever.

Edgar is best at 155, not 145, not 135 he can make those divisions but he's not best there, he will never hold a title there, never even come as close as did at holding the LW belt TWICE. Edgar's best option is to decide to stay at 155, to decide to work on more explosive and fast twitch exercises, get a diet made for putting on muscle and start working the heavy weights and exercises, establish some power and size so he can have better top control and more dangerous strikes.

Seriously quote this so in a year or two from now when you see how everything goes you can say " DAMN, This guy knew something I didn't, Dana didn't and Joe Didn't, he knows what's up!"

Aldo would make Edgar stand with him and as a whole i think Jose is the better overrall striker but we wont really know until it happens.

I think Frankie could shake off anything Aldo throws at him. He's taken harder shots. I think Frankie would be able to take him down repeatedly.

Agreed. Frankie would be a BEAST if he went out and TRIED to finish.

Agreed, I think Maynard probably hits harder than Aldo. Aldo will gas faster than Maynard did too. Frankie will outbox and outpoint him solidly 49-46 across the board.

Edit* unless its at rumble weight. Then it will be 29-28.

He took that vicious upkick from your man crush Bendo so he could probably take the knee. You can rip on Frankie for a lot of things, a lack of chin or heart is definitely not one of them.

The on difference with Aldo is that if he somehow rocks Edgar which happens in almost all of his fights we will finish it......

He might, but you make it sound like a forgone conclusion that a featherweight hits harder than huge lightweights like Maynard and Bendo and that's retarded.

I'll pay to find out though. They just need to make this fight.

You forget Aldo is a huge 145 pounder he may hit harder than Maynard for all we know. If he lands one of his deadly kicks flush like shin to jaw its good night ireen.....And bendo landed a few rite on his jaw like below. If that lands with the shin its over......

I've been saying that Frankie could easily make BW' date=' if he wanted to. It's a 20lb cut. How much does Bendo, GSP, Silva, and Jones cut?[/quote']

GSP cuts 23 to 25 pounds, Silva cuts 13 pounds, Jones cuts somewhere around 25, and Bendo cuts around 20.

Frankie would be great as a bantamweight, but I don't think that's what his coach is saying in this interview.

Basically, his coach is being "butthurt", crying about how Frankie doesn't get any credit for fighting at his natural weight class while some guys (alluding to Bendo) cut nearly 20 pounds to fight at LW.

He's not saying Frankie should fight at BW, he's just saying that if Frankie were to do what many others are doing, he would be cutting to BW.

BW would be a forever better choice than FW.

I have a feeling Aldo would tear him apart. Aldo would tear up LW period' date=' don't know why he doesn't just go there and be the first guy to hold a LW and FW belt at the same [/b']time.

You gotta be ******** me... he's continuing to cut a lot of weight to make 145 so he can continue to fight lesser competition. He would get beat the **** up by the elite lightweights

I'm really hoping Frankie finally decides to give Featherweight a shot' date=' I think he'd be great there. I'm not so certain Bantamweight would be a good idea though, [b']that's a lot of weight for a guy his size to cut.[/b]

Cruz is bigger than Edgar and he makes weight. Edgar wrestled at 141 in college. Those are same day weigh ins over and over mind you. He could diet down into the mid/upper 140s like all the other bantamweights and make his cut from there.

Doubt it Aldo's one of the most well rounded fighters in the UFC he has some of the best striking in MMA and is a BJJ Black belt. What really makes him a special fighter is his athleticism, speed and takedown defence which allows him to dictate where the fight takes place i think Aldo would be a top 3 Lightweight, possibly The lightweight Champion

lol ducking Aldo so bad he'd rather see him drop 20 lbs than fight Jose.

Bingo!

The FW division actually has some talent in it. With Aldo reigning at the top, Frankie don't want any of that business.

For now, BW really on has Cruz, Faber, and Barao.
