Does shouting USA USA USA make for a better atmosphere

If chanting USA USA USA makes you feel like you have a bigger P.E.N.I.S than usual, then go for it i suppose. I would never do it, because i couldnt give a sht where i come from lol. Wouldnt matter if i was born on the best country on the planet, the only real important people are your family and the person paying your wages every week. Is the USA paying all your bills or are you? Did the USA bring you up or are you easily influenced by McDonalds and GM motors?

"Patriotism is the virtue of the vicious" said Oscar Wilde.

Having said this, I appreciate that the USA USA mentality that the US Government has embedded into American children's heads while they are still soft since the end of WW2 has had a deep and lasting effect.

Most intelligent people, those with rich and full lives don't need to fall back on the perceived accomplishments of the patch of land they happened to have been hatched on.

Watch this before you next chant USA anywhere:

What the hell is wrong with some of you people? If youre from the US and you want to chant "USA USA USA", then do it. It does not make you a "redneck", in fact I live in the south and "rednecks" here only have confederate flags, I doubt theyd even Chant USA.

I myself have never chanted it, but I kinda like it when im out watching an event and the crowd chants it. Good for them, its not against the law and it also doesnt mean youre racist. It means youre prideful, nothing more.

Depends where it is. In Texas then yes. In Vietnam then no.

Makes you feels good when your there. I'm forever singing England songs when I go to an event.

Makes you look like a set of idiots elsewhere though.

Difference there is that the England-songs are a lot more creative and smart. The supporter-culture is a lot stronger.

I love chanting and "soccer-rants" in all sports and of course you should root for your guy, but just shouting USA USA USA gets boring. Mix it up a little!!

Also on a more serious note, Brazilians come to events in the U.S and wave their countries flag all the time. You also see the Mexican, Canadian and UK flag when their respective fighters are fighting. I don't see a problem with it, so why does everyone get up in arms when the U.S crowd cheers USA in the US. Europeans are so sensitive.

Any American who isnt proud enough to shout it out to the world that we belong to the greatest land on earth can go and live in Mexico. Better still go and live in England with the cowards who needed out help so they would be eating sauerkraut and speaking German.

America is the greatest land on earth..

Of course you should scream for your guy and/or your country. Just get a bit more creative with your rants. Learn from the brittish supporters, or the swedes for that matter, or actually any of the sensitive europeans...

Its great. Chanting fuels the atmosphere. Can you imagine an English football match where everyone sat in silence!.

Same goes for any event, UFC included. I don't care what they chant so long as they chant. So all you tight-***** dissin on chanting, get of your high horses and have some fun, you miserable *******!...:P
