Banham
I recently have been thinking about how these 2 match-up and i'm having a hard time seeing how the champion defends his belt. Standing- On the feet Jon is at a very big disadvantage. Dan has the best right hand in the sport and some of the most brutal one punch KO power ever displayed in MMA. Sure Jon has his reach and will try to jab and front kick while running and try to play the distance game but Dan is going to rush in after him because he has an iron chin and Jon has pillow fists so he pretty much has nothing to worry about. Wrestling- Let's take a look at their wrestling credentials. Jon was a Junior College champ which is like banging Sarah Jessica Parker, nothing to brag about. Meanwhile, Dan is a Grecco-Roman olympian. Jon's double legs have always been overrated (See fights against Rampage and Rashad) he gets his TD's mainly from trips and throws in the clinch which is where Dan shines with that Grecco-Roman background. Again, i'm having a hard time seeing where Jon defends his title here. Dan Henderson, 1st RD KO.
