mg10
Jones has had an incredible run at such a young age. He took what looked to be one of the most stacked divisions in the UFC and made it look shallow in one year. Already defeating 4 UFC champions in a row and now facing a 5th. If he beats Dan Henderson he has almost completely cleared out the division, which is a remarkable accomplishment so early on in his career. The only fighters you can compare Jones to today are probably Anderson, GSP and Aldo. Anderson GSP and Aldo took over their divisions from already established dominant champions (Hughes, Franklin and Faber), so they have not faced many former champions, but have defeated many contenders the previous dominant champion never faced, which makes their runs incredible as well. Right now I would say Anderson is the greatest UFC fighter ever, but with what Jones has already accomplished so young he may go down as the best ever. GSP, Aldo and Anderson are not done fighting yet though.

This division has NEVER been stacked it has always bordered on crapness with the HW div.It was not long ago many thought Hamill and Franklin were two great fighters lol.I would expect MANY 185 fighters and some 170 to roll over this division. They have added ONLY one good skilled fighter and he should have been there long ago >>>Jimmo. The rest are cans or over sized bums...aka Glover.205 should be known as the former roid Pride division. No more roids no more good fighters just gimp knees and old men. Hurzy
The mods should create a sticky for all jones threads...All of the Jones' reach vs Jones is the GOAT threads are getting old fast. Jones is a good fighter. Hes ****y. He has a longer reach than everyone in the UFC. He hit a pole while driving drunk. Hes been impressive in all of his title fights. Anything I left out? JimmyYO
Hendo is likely gonna get embarrassed, he's the least threat to Jones as he's a worse cardio version of Rampage.....if that's even possible. This fight is the definition of a punchers chance, luckily in Hendo's case that's still a pretty decent chance.

I never said 205 was stacked I said people thought it was stacked before because the title was always changing hands, but since Jones became champ people now think the division is shallow. I was pointing out that Jones has had such an impact that many fans perception of an entire division has completely changed in barely a year. I never thought 205 was the most stacked division even 2 years ago. I would say lightweight is the most stacked division. However regardless of what anyone thinks of the 205 division it doesn't take away from what Jones has accomplished in such a short period of time at such a young age and that was my main point.
