As a foreigner my appreciation for the NFL had been increasing a lot in the past few years but I've been watching the preseason games and the games take so ****ing long that my interest is slowly fading away.

 

I also don't like the fact that this is a team sport but you have 11 guys that only attack and 11 different guys to defend...

 

But yeah, the game can be entertaining at times. I love watching Michael Vick... when he's not hurt

Only reason they get paid that much is because its a very popular sport and they get a lot of venue.

 

To say its not a real sport is just silly.

Don't go off of preseason games.

 

They're not played the same way to make sure their stars don't get injured. Its more to give a test run for your rookies, get your team used to the plays and stuff like that.

 

 

Its different on offense and defense because they're such specific skill sets that you need for those said positions.

Anyways, I'm not here to badmouth a game that is so liked in America. I enjoy the game myself but I feel it's a tad overrated.

lol name me one football player that played HALF of 512 games total in the NFL...i was just playing about it not being a real sport honestly talking **** just to get a rise out of football fans like you i guess....and i live in PA and steelers fans are the biggest ****** bags on earth tbh(even eagles fans arent as bad which sounds weird huh?)...i wont group you in that bunch cuz i dont know you or havent seen you watch a game but if you see some of these clowns at the bar...i think you may even laugh...but your right i dont care moving on...

Basketball is more about positioning and ball control when it comes to positions....Soccer i have to disagree with because you don't see defenders taking the ball all the way across the field.

 

Its different with football because its not continuous play. if you get the ball and your down by contact thats the end of the play which leaves room so you can specialize in the players you need. In Soccer and Basketball you have to continually play so the subs aren't logical.
