Wouldn't surprise me if he got it after beating Forrest though..

Post fight speech calling out Jones' date=' followed by Jones asking for that fight, followed by Dana changing his mind... Guaranteed to draw big PPV numbers![/quote']All he has to do is grab the mic from Joe and shout "Jon Jones you absolutely suck!"

First and foremost, the UFC is a PPV selling machine. If they think rushing Chael to a fight with Jones is going to make their bottom line a little bigger, they will do. I find it laughable that you are taking a comment made by Dana White, on a talk show, as though it carries any legitimate weight. But come on, most of us have been fans of this sport and company long enough to have seen injuries, contract disputes, and other craziness lead to far less deserving people receiving far more.

Does Chael Sonnen deserve a shot at Jon Jones belt after one win against Forrest? No. But if the fight is dominate enough, and if Chael can manage to get enough main stream media attention for the fight, I have a feeling Dana might see things very differently. Remember, Sonnen is one of the few fighters in the world whom even non-MMA fans know. Jones is another one. And both have made big splashes on appearing on various TV shows. The only reason I could see Dana holding off on this fight would be to pad Sonnen's record a bit as to allow the illusion of being a dominate force at 205. But Dana, I promise you, sees the dollar and media coverage potential in these two clashing - and I'd be willing to bet, it's on a short list of fights he's salivating with anticipation over getting to collect the revenue on.

I'm clearly mocking Dana White.

Cain vs Mir is STILL happening.

Dana finaly got tired of Sonnen.

I mean come on man. What credibility does Sonnen have now to be dumping **** on champions.

All he's got is his wrestling. No wrestler have been able to outwrestle Jones so far. And Sonnen wasn't even able to take Silva down in the 2nd round last time they fought. And the 1st takedown he got Silva basicaly just ran at him swinging for the fences, obviously not being careful of being taken down at all. As soon as he focused on it, the spider's wrestling was good enough to avoid the TD. How the **** does that clown expect to take Jones down?

Just thought I'd bump this. Dana was right' date=' Sonnen wouldn't get a shot at Jones after beating Forrest. Dana would have given it to him BEFORE he beat Forrest. :D It's almost like someone suggested that injures and card shifts make a liar of all promoters...who was that...
