Jeffro21
http://www.mmafighting.com/2012/8/22/3259117/morning-report-dana-white-anderson-silva-vs-gsp-catchweight-superfight-frankie-edgar-featherweight "Finally, the big question was put to White: if St-Pierre successfully unifies the 170-pound titles, is Anderson Silva the next man in line? And though he often plays coy in these situations, this time Dana was surprisingly upfront with his answer." "Probably. He's got to beat Condit first though." Sorry if already posted I didn't see anything.
fobar
Not sure Anderson would take the fight to be honest. Once the Rush St Pierre runs through Condit, Silva will think its best to hang up the belt undefeated in the UFC.
NewMMAFansSuck
I dont see why it would matter if he beat Condit or not considering the fact that Dana said the super fight would happen at a catch weight, thus keeping the both belts intact. Once the Rush St Pierre runs through Condit' date=' Silva will think its best to hang up the belt undefeated in the UFC.[/quote'] I honestly was thinking the same here is my logic (not perfect). This is the timeline of events 1. Silva says he would like to fight at WW against GSP, LHW, and even exhibition fights at HW 2. Chael almost beats Silva 3. Silva announces he will only fight at MW 4. GSP tears his ACL and someone just like Chael I.E. Weidman is the #1 contender and wants to fight Silva 5. Silva says he wants to fight the torn ACL GSP now 6. GSP beats condit showing his TDs and Silva will demand that he moves to MW for the fight 7. Fight never happens

I can't see him really wanting it, GSP would take him down at will at any weight IMO. Anderson wants to retire undefeated in the UFC and Champ. MMAJess
Or, they want to do the fight at a catchweight, and GSP claims he would need a year to put on weight for the fight, so that he can cut an extra 10 lbs before the fight, rather than just cutting 20 lbs like he would now. Seems like we've heard this tale before...... I really don't believe GSP wants anything to do with Silva. Oh, and to the OP: it's 'past Condit', not 'passed Condit.' StompGrind
GSP won't last a round with Anderson especially since GSP will never take that fight in the first place.

creepZzZz
It's nice to hear this but.... something is bound to happen and it won't materialize. It shouldn't even happen imo... it would be so lopsided it wouldn't even be funny. Silva KO 1st/2nd round. I want GSP - Diaz and SIlva - JBJ, those would be fights:cool:
