I cant find a picture but ill try to describe it as much as i can.

Say the opponent throws a jab, u do a circular parrying motion with ur arm and catch his arm under ur armpit. so now u have him in a standing hold where u are bending his arm so he cant escape and u have a free arm to punch his face with. is this legal

Wouldn't you need to be a gorilla to keep a hold of someone like that? Could they just elbow you?

I've always wondered if wrist joint submissions are allowed because my brother uses them on me (Prison Officer) and they suck.

no u cant do any wrist manipulations.

and as long as u got him in that position ur at an easier advantage to elbow/punch them then they are u because u can move along with their punch while they are stuck in the same position. im just wondering because i got someone in that hold but let go because i wasnt sure if i can do that

Seams strange you can't attack the wrist but you can attack the ankle.
