OUR PRESIDENT, What is he thinking?

I-635 in Texas is being rebuilt with underground tolls from I-35 to I-45 and is contracted to a CHINESE government-owned firm for over $5 billion.

Diane Sawyer reporting on U.S. bridge projects going to the Chinese... NOT Americans.

The bridges are right here in the U.S. and yet Obama has approved for Chinese contractors to come in and do the work. What about jobs for Americans???

Watch this video. It doesn't take long to view. This one should be tough for the supporters of the current regime to swallow... AND it comes from ABC NEWS.

LMFAO....I'm sure the president worries about specific highways in random states lol

Anyone would take the cheaper deal whether republican, democrats, libertarian w.e the political view. It's in our blood to avoid high prices and taxes...Idc what you have to say about it, it's fact. If republicans did it they'd try to get it as cheap as humanly possible and come up with an excuse for it, democrats would do it and say they can now appropriate funds elsewhere. Either way there are others willing to do it cheaper than americans are willing to do and in a capitalistic market the $ is what matters..

There's countless things local politics can do to help people with jobs it's up to them to vote the right people in locally as well as nationally. I feel no pity towards the unemployed that are capable of doing some hard work for their dollar. Too many times do I hear people complain about "foreigners" of any sort taking their jobs but I don't see them hunched over all day picking something for a measly pay, I don't see them in 105 degree weather selling CD's, washing windows or w.e it may be. It might not be the best thing to do but there's opportunity aside from food stamps and welfare. The one job market I can give leeway is in the construction industry but again it's all on the contractors that want cheap labor. No one wants to have to pay far more for a house in the end just because americans worked on it. If we paid minimum wage and benefits etc for agricultural workers we'd be paying $5 for ONE orange.

It all comes with the territory of how we want to live our lives, we have ti give some ground to gain some ground. It's far more complicated than one party or another.

Just my two cents

It doesn't matter what he does, someone will always overreact, this time its you, next time it might be someone else, but its probably you.

Perhaps this is Obama trying to increase relations with China before intervening in Syria, with China saying that they would back the Syrians? Purely unfounded, but I can see why it makes sense. That and your huge deficit that you've *****ed about in a lot of other threads

If the work was done by americans, it would actually be being done by mexicans.

Blacks & whites could never hang with their work ethic.

Americans are way to expensive plus they always show up late or hungover, complain about just about everything, take too many breaks, bring their drama to work and if they own a smart phone Nothing is getting done.

Sorry it's true.
