Thats right folks !!

Please note before reading this: SHORT NOTICE

Some say everything happens for a reason and Im a truly believer on that, even in MMA ;)

Hendo is a legend, bad a*** and we all know his right hand and Sonnen is another bad a** that I have got a lot of respect to and I would watch Sonnen fight anytime, anywhere and against anyone and believe me or not (hard to see a brazilian saying it) I would root for Sonnen as well !!

However both of these guys wouldnt be successful against Jones as Vitor might be !!!

HENDO: Sorry, love Hendo but Im slo glad that fight aint happening ... That would be a very one sided fight just like a trainning section for Jones. Other than his right hand, that was nothing else to even concern Jones at all. Not mentioining Hendo would be gassed out completely by 3rd round and that would be horrible if you are in the cage with Jones.

SONNEN: More chances than Hendo, true. But if Silva could do it so could Jones. Jones is way better than Silva on the ground, is a wrestler himself and I just dont see Sonnen being a legit threat either specially in a short notice. I dont think I gotta mention Jones size advantage and reach. Sonnen is a great wrestler but this it. I would bet on Sonnen IF Sonnen had his 3 or 4 month to make the weight and train for Jones.

VITOR: He has all together for fight Jones. Great on nothing but a liitle bit of everything. Vitor has the experience and bout against big guys, speed, KO power, BJJ, Randy wrestling background trainning, foot work (Karate background), fast hands and a "clear mind" who tells him he got nothing to lose. He will be totally relaxed againt a Jones totally under pressure and booed by all the fans and chased by the media. I truly believe Jones current stress will affect his performance if isnt already affecting his trainning camp. Not mentiong that even Greg isnt happing his best MMA moments either ....

Some of you may say "No, Sonnen was the most dangerous thats why he declined fighting Sonnen" which make sense I gotta say. However, this confidence on Vitor being "easier" could be a horrible decision for Jones.

Anyway, I will accept any opinion as long as you explain and/or make a point.

PS. Yes, I believe Jones most likely will beat Vitor (for the records) but I just think Vitor has more chance ATM than Sonnen and Hendo !!

Well I think Fail has the least chance of beating him of the three. All Sonnen has is takedowns and I for one do not see him getting one take down on JBJ so he would get his azz royally kicked. The thing with Vitor he has his hand speed. Hendo has the power but again would probably have a harder time of landing it than Vitor. So I guess I agree with you but neither of the three have a really good chance of beating him.....

Vitor doesn't have the wrestling of Sonnen or Hendo nor does he have the TDD. He got taken down by Rumble, who given is massive, but Jones is bigger than him. Jones is great in the clinch, he'll take Vitor down relatively easy and gnp to a tko or submission I think.

I think Vitor has less of a chance to win than Sonnen and Hendo. Watch when they step in the octagon and you see the size difference. It's gonna be like they're a whole weight class apart!!...oh wait.

I know I was just taking a look at skills tho.

But wahtever, Jones would beat all 3 of them on the same night LOL

I think both Vitor and Sonnen both have a better chance than Hando anyway. Vitor is a far more well rounded striker than Hendo and has much much better hand speed. Sonnen brings an in your face style and would really track Jones down, just like he did to Silva. I think Jones will beat Belfort, but I doubt it will be as one sided as people seem to think

I think Belfort has a better chance of upsetting Jones than Machida, Rua, Sonnen, or Henderson.

Jon Jones is a lot like GSP in that he's so excellent at controlling a fight with his wrestling and striking that it's pretty much impossible to win a decision against.

The only way a non-heavyweight MMA can beat Jones is by finishing him, and his wrestling is great so it's very unlikely that any non-heavyweight can get him down or keep him down to submit him.

And Jones is very comfortable on his feet so any fighter that he has a worry about maybe submitting off their back he would just keep it standing.

So realistically the only way a non-heavyweight can beat Jones is by a KO/TKO, and because of his incredible height and reach advantage and creative striking it's down to just a "puncher's chance" to KO/TKO him.

Chael Sonnen doesn't have the striking or power or speed to knockout Jon Jones, Dan Henderson and Mauricio Rua have a puncher's chance but only for 1-2 rounds before the gas-out.

Machida showed in the last fight that he has a chance but he has to attack more like he did in the 1st round, Jon Jones' striking defense is great at defending one or two punches thrown at a time but a flurry of punches can catch Jones.

Lyoto Machida's best moments/Jon Jones' worst moments in their fight was when Machida did his karate style punch rush and Jones' only defense was to try to get as tall as possible and just move his head away and backpedal.

Vitor Belfort has the best punch rush in MMA history and if he does his classic Belfort Blitz and rushes Jon Jones with a tornado of punches he has a legitimate chance of catching him and finishing him, with that said I think Jones is going to win.

Jones could take Vitor down at any time and ground and pound TKO or submit him but he could/would do the same exact thing to Hendo, Sonnen, Rua, and Machida.

Vitor is midtier fighter and is extremly overrated. A fight between him and Jones will go exatcly like Jones vs Matyushenko or Jones vs Vera. Unless of course Jones doesnt give him enough respect and fools around in the ring. Hendo was much better matchup but I do agree that Vitor is a tougher fight than Sonnen would be

I sort of agree with you on some of what you said about Hendo and Vitor. But the bolded about Sonnen? Are you ****ing retarded? Fail has the least chance of lasting 1 round with Bones of anybody in the entire division.
