Fighters you gained respect for in defeat

And real loses, no bs/*****ing about how ---- should have won the fight. I'll start

Che Mills- Stepped up to fight Rory (a pretty good name), his stand up looked amazing, obv the rest of his game has to catch up but from that fight you can tell he is clearly skilled and talented. I look forward to to seeing him ko Ludwig.

Well I already like Brandon Vera, but he did gain a lot of respect for his fight with Shogun. He was taking on the #5 LHW in the world and performed great. I mean if you hate him or not, you can't deny he fought his a** off.

Dan Hardy is his loss to GSP. Showed his resiliency. Chael Sonnen after he lost to Silva the first time.

Nick Diaz after he lost to Condit. Took it like a man. Didn't cry or and never thought about retiring or walking away from the sport or anything like that after just one loss. Class Act.

Hominik' date=' especially after Aldo beat him.[/quote']

Shogun vs Hendo

Hominic for sure. He was outclassed but never stopped moving forward, even when he grew a conjoined twin out of his forehead.

Shogun definitely earned a ton of points in my book for not only standing up to Hendo's extreme power but having incredibly strong rounds four and five.

Also Diego Sanchez when he fought Jake Ellenberger

He would have won that fight if it was 5 rounds

Can't really say that considering it wasn't a 5 rounder so Ellenberger probably wasn't prepared for 5 rounds. He did what he had to win in 3 rounds. If they said the day before the fight that they're changing it to a 5 rounder, then maybe.

So in a 5 round rematch, you got ellenberger?

That Tushnacer guy (can't remember his name).

After gonzaga field kicked his junk and he was spewing into a bucket in the cage' date=' he still wanted to fight. Even though I'm guessin he couldn't feel anything from the chin down.[/quote']

This is by far the best answer in the thread. That guy was all that is toughness.

Too bad he sucks at fighting.

I hate to say it' date=' but I had to admire Fitch's guts going out there to be brutalized by GSP for a half hour.

Faber and Hominick continuing against Aldo after being wrecked was also impressive.

[b']Carwin surviving an all out assault from JDS[/b]

Forgot that one, after that fight I think Carwin has the most underrated chin. He took A LOT.
