Women's MMA vs Women's Boxing

I'm a huge fan of Both Boxing and MMA but when it comes to the females, I can't get into the Boxing. On the other hand, I'm totally onboard with the girls kickin' @$$ in the cage. And I seem to not be alone on this. Imo and many others, WMMA has already surpassed WBoxing. First Gina and now Ronda. WMMA has produced two legit stars in their sport. WBoxing had Ali's daughter but that's about it. And I don't see anything bright coming in the near future. Hardly ever see any of their fights on live TV. As for WMMA, females are headlining MMA cable televised cards with men on the undercards. That's crazy. WMMA has stormed onto the scene while WBoxing is going down the toilet. If u ask me, all WMMA needs to REALLY blow up is to be in the UFC. Strikeforce is and sounds so corny to me. UFC is way cooler. Under the UFC brand, WMMA would go to the next level. And totally leave WBoxing in the dust!!!!

You make a very good point. In no other sport do you see the men taking a back seat to the women like they do in MMA. Ronda is very deserving of the main event. She possess better technique than most men.

Lickalotopuss is right.:P Ronda is the first of the next gen of women's mixed martial artists. I am more and more impressed with her every time she fights.
