Hey Dana, when you only have one decent fight on a card...

And the event gets canceled because one of the fighters gets injured, that's your fault you dumb sack of s***. Any card that completely depends on a single fight to remain viable is a slap in the face and insult to fans.

 

Keep pumping out crap and I'll keep smiling as I watch your PPV numbers plummet.

 

How'd Edgar/Bendo do again :P

I haven't spent a dime on anything UFC related in years. And as the product becomes increasingly watered down and even the moronic WWE converts are starting to realize the garbage they're being fed you can expect to continue seeing increasingly poorer ppv buys and overall interest in the org.

Because I love MMA, and since the UFC is the biggest org, at the moment, they have the most significant impact on the sport. Maybe if enough people like me (real fans who aren't satisfied with garbage over hyped cards) voice their objection to it someone from this clown show will take notice.

I'm trying to drum up debate among fans and calling Dana names gets attention. I don't believe that my voice alone will have any impact, but if a thread goes to 10 pages with people debating the topic of weak cards and how the UFC quality has diminished then I think it gets noticed.

 

Furthermore I really dislike Dana White. He's hypocritical and disrespectful to the fighters, journalists, the fans. What he did in this whole Jon Jones incident was a disgusting display. He deserves little respect in my umbel opinion.

You're just a follower, right now you're a Zuffa Zombie who will swallow whatever slop they pour into your trough...if another org popped up tomorrow and was suddenly more popular you'd abandon the UFC and be following the new org like a sheep in no time.

And if for some reason the UFC burnt down and another organization came up and took the best fighters obviously I'd watch that and so would 99% of the people on this forum.

 

And I disliked some things Dana did, like firing Miguel Torres but letting others go because they were more relevant fighters. But I understand that it's a business and sometimes you gotta punish an irrelevant guy to put the others in check

You are wrong stating that someone wouldn't even know what MMA is without Dana. Just thought I'd point that out.

First MMA I watched was UFC 3 which is long before Dana ran ****

 

And for anyone to say MMA wouldnt have "been" without Dana is just a stupid thought because MMA is what people do, UFC is a brand. Even if UFC had died out fighters still would have trained and fought, simple as that

 

Does Dana make MMA (UFC) a lot more mainstream? Sure he does (Which is awesome), but it still would go on and I still would follow it with or without him LoL

Word, My dad had a buddy come over and had a recording (on VHS of course) of UFC 3, I was 14

 

We watched that and got hooked, got ahold of the first 2 and watched those and watched the next two after UFC 3 to catch up to the newest one and been watching every one ever since

yeah my buddy had a spazz little bro who after watching a couple decided he'd do the "moves" on anyone in striking range ... needless to say I got kicked directly in my eyeball .. i was not happy

I wasnt upset because the card lacked, I was upset that the card was cancelled. I could have enjoyed that card even without the main event. Some nights I just feel like watching fights and drinking. But it's done, no point in complaining now.

 

But also, OP is a fan, and fan input is valuable. It let's a business know where it should be going and why. I'm sure there's a UFC employee watching this forum and taking notes on consumer opinions.

Just because Dana and the Fertittas developed MMA does not mean fans should not criticize then when they screw up or kowtow to them ad infinitum. While the OP may not have made the best choice of words to express his feelings he does have good points. In fact I'd say it is those who do worship blindly at the alter of the UFC, regardless of how many crappy shows they put on, are doing more harm to the sport than good. A little critical thinking is a good thing and will only help improve and grow the sport. Mindless fawning over the ownership will not.

They did not really develope MMA, they developed they made it main stream.

The fighters developed it.
