Emrig
Thought I'd share an article I just read about this and ask you guys your thoughts. After reading this I kinda understand the UFC's position a little bit more. I see Jones position too, but I think the UFC is more in the right now because of all the stuff with the growth of the sport, injuries, tv deals etc. Plus Jones wouldn't be making the kind of coin he is without the UFC. What do you guys think? Source: http://fiveknuckles.com/mma-news/UFC-151-Whos-really-to-blame.html
Doctor_Obviously
The ones who made and cancelled 151 are to blame. So the answer is: UFC management. If you're going to blame Jones, then you may as well blame Machida, Shogun and Hendo. Joe Silva made the "weak" card and Dana White cancelled it. It's a no brainer. JBJF
I'm tired of the UFC 151 drama as a whole, but I think there are many people at fault here. Not all Hendo, Jones, UFC, or whoever you want to ***** at. I definitely understand all of there positions.

Melvinj0
The UFC is to blame. They made a card based soley on the main event, the main event got canceled and they had nothing to fall back on. There has been plenty of other cards in which the main event got canceled and the event was still able to go on since the rest of the card was solid. They thought they could get by on Jones' popularity with this event and they paid the price for it.
Nyte
Basically what everyone here said. UFC's fault, Dana's fault. They didn't need to cancel either. Ellenberger has already headlined a few free cards and had great fights in them. It's kinda a slap in the face to him, imo, because they're basically saying we don't think you're good enough to headline this card. Siver/Yagin would have been a decent co-main too. Oh well this stuff is already over. I just hope some people have realized it's not all Jones fault. In fact, I don't see him at fault really. It's his haters who will take any little flaw on him and grow it into a cluster****. Dana already said on his interview on UFC Tonight that he compensated the guys who got scheduled on later cards. So really everyone still got their money.

Everyone needed a breather....or at least 8 days to calm down. lol

RogerJones620
Jon Jones fought 5 times in 12 months, so I'm not sure why he gets so much hate when most champions fight like once a year. If anything, I'm glad 151 got canceled. Henderson didn't stand a chance, and maybe now in the future the UFC will stop making crappy cards. I'm actually tired of watching UFC PPV's solely for the main event. It didn't used to be this way. If anything blame the champions who refuse to fight more than once a year, or blame Carlos Condit for refusing to defend his interim title for over a year (Jones fought 5 times in a similar time period). *Shrugs.*
RodrigoRua
Everybody ... Of course the top 2 would be Hendo and Jones IMHO (as a fighter) and Dana as management. Now if you want to be fair ... MACHIDA, SHOGUN, JONES, DANA, HENDO. But they, bottom line is that everyone had a legit reason. We could go all night on this so lets move on folks. Cant wait for UFC 153, seriously.

We lose one meh card and gain a mega card, im cool with it )
MMAJess
80% UFC's fault for such a weak card, and not having a back-up plan for Hendo 15% Jones' fault for turning down Chael fight 3% Hendo's fault for not letting people know he was gonna be out sooner 2% other LHW's for not taking the fight.
