Should Bisping return to LHW?

I saw an article that says he is considering a return to LHW and am just interested to hear thoughts on it.

I personally think that there are many more interesting fight for Bisping at LHW then at MW and think he could eventually make a great gate keeper in either division, i dont see him ever making champ in either division though.

Ah yes' date=' [b']very intelligent and well thought out response.[/b]

....and the haters gonna hate....

If that's what you're looking for you're going to be very disappointed. 5% of posters here can actually have a conversation about MMA. The others are here to piss everyone else off.

My opinion, no, Bisping should not move up in weight. I think MW fits his body frame and is his only chance at a title fight. I think the beasts at 205 are just too much for him.

He was a mid tier LHW when he fought in the division and he would be that again if he returned. He couldn't beat Hamill (I don't care what the judges said, we know the truth). He did have a close fight with Rashad, but that was before Rashad had fully developed into the fighter he is today.

Bisping wouldn't get past Machida, Shogun, Gus, Glover, Jones, Evans, Forrest, Lil Nog, Thiago, Te-huna, and Bader.

However they would probably give him the Bisping treatment and only match him up with meh guys.

I'd put money on Bisping beating the guys I bolded.

Hype wise you're probably right. Mike can rack up some serious money with all the personalities 205 has right now. As far as him having a chance to be champion 185 is the way to go. I strongly believe if he can t.k.o Stann he will get (and deserves) the next title shot.

I think a lot of people overlook Bisping purely because of his personality and his fighting style.

Although he may not be great in any one area, he is, at the least, good in all area's, and improving all the time.

He could, on a given night and with a little bit of good fortune, win a championship. He may not ever dominate an entire division, hell, he may never successfully defend it even, but i wouldn't discount him ever winning a belt.

LHW is VERY weak, imo a toss up between HW and LHW for the weakest divisions in the sport.

Bisping's real problem is he is just not good enough, simple fact.

He needs to remove his ego and break down each part of his game and figure out how to improve. He should watch other fighters to see how they do it better.I can EASILY see huge problems with his stand up and he NEVER initiates a ground game either,so he is obviously weak everywhere. He is running out of time,he should start figuring it out now before is too late.

185 was so weak for so long, that Bisping could reel off some wins as well, but now he could easily lose 2 in a row and disappear from the picture.
