You ever been to a tanning bed or tanned in a can ?

Yes I went rather frequently when I was in high school. I have always been very pale, and the lure of having a nice base tan was too much for me to pass up. Now in my 20's, and having undergone two procedures already to remove skin cancer, I avoid them. I don't necessarily believe that the beds I used as a teenage solely lead to these events, my skin type is at a higher risk as is, but I certainly don't think they helped. As for avoiding them currently, it's just not worth the risk.

 

I am somewhat interested in spray tans, I've often wondered if done in moderation you could gain a healthy looking glow without the dreaded orange tint.

I have heard that as well...I've also heard, believe it or not, that too much sunscreen can elevate your risk of skin cancer due to carcinogens in the lotion itself. I would likely consult a dermatologist before going ahead with spray on tan seriously. I am hoping the stories of them being harmful is merely "old wives tale" - otherwise I may be doomed to walk the earth a pasty white guy.
