I don't know who the **** those guys are

The event starts at 8 PM I believe

With some of the hate you direct to boxing I would've thought you'd at least be educated a bit on it, shows your quite ignorant about the sport.

Sergio Martinez and Julio Cesar Chavez jr.

I don't need to know the fighters to know that the sport has millions of worthless weight classes, millions of belts, fighters that will duck each other, corrupt judges, corrupt managers etc.

Just look at the Pacquiao vs Bradley fight, Bob Arum represents both fighters and he knew beforehand that if Pacquiao lost there would be an automatic rematch.

Bob Arum even said in an interview: I know that was BS (the decision) but I'm making a lot of money in the rematch

All those factors made me uninterested in the sport and that's why I don't know many of the new fighters.

I'm purposely "ignorant"

Knowing who Ward and Dawson are but not knowing who Sergio Martinez is is pretty ridiculous IMO, he's the guy that both Pacquiao and Mayweather are afraid to fight.

Sergio Martinez is the number 3 ranked P4P best boxer in the world (he reminds me of RJJ in his prime) and Julio C?sar Ch?vez, Jr. is an undefeated champion with heavy hands.

Martinez vs. Ch?vez, Jr. is IMO (and some boxing experts' opinions) the best boxing match-up of the year, if you're pumped for this boxing match tonight then I would definitely recommend you see Martinez vs. Ch?vez, Jr. too.

Martinez and Ch?vez, Jr. are not only both great boxers but are also two of the most exciting boxers in the world (I think Martinez is the most exciting boxer right now) that win most of their fights by knockout.

Sergio's knockout of Paul Williams was probably boxing's best knockout since Pacquiao killed poor Ricky Hatton.

Thanks for the heads up. As I said, many things turned me away from boxing so I consider myself very ignorant about the sport.

I used to watch a lot of K1 too but MMA is just a more complete sport, I get bored watching BJJ, Taekwondo, Karate etc. because they're all much less dynamic than MMA

And yeah, the last boxing fight I watched live was Amir Khan getting KTFO - maybe one of those guys was the one who knocked him out?

Saying Mayweather and Pacquiao are afraid of Martinez is like saying Anderson Silva is afraid of Jones. I also think Chavez, Jr. is overrated, because of who his father is.

The fact you don't know who Martinez or Chavez Jr are implies you don't watch nearly enough boxing to know what goes on decision or refereeing wise the vast majority of the time.

I agree that Julio C?sar Ch?vez, Jr. gets a little overrated because he's the son of a true boxing legend but he has shown considerable improvement in the last two years.

I wouldn't compare Pacquiao or Mayweather vs. Martinez to Silva vs. Jones for two reasons, for one, neither Silva or Jones are interested in fighting each other while Martinez has challenged both Pacquiao and Mayweather and they ignore him. And second, Jones isn't offering to drop down in weight while Martinez has before. Pacquiao and Mayweather have been recently fighting between 147lbs. to 154lbs. and Martinez (who normally fights between 154lbs. to 160lbs.) has offered to fight at 154lbs. and even went as far to say if given enough time to train he could do a 150lbs. catchweight.

Maybe because its 4am but this fight is boring me.

Or maybe it because i dislike both fighters......

Didnt bother with vitali vs charr..... Its a sham fight.

Vitali needs to fight hayes..... No other fight at HW matters.

Lee Purdy vs the argie was awesome, purdy looked brilliant.

Bellew stuck to a good game plan, picked apart mirandi til he broke him.
