Which Countries Have The Best Crowds?

Recommended Posts

I made a list best to worst.

1. Brazil

2. Japan

3. U.K.

4. Canada

5. Australia

6. Sweden

7. Ireland

8. UEA

9. USA

10. Germany

What are your guys thoughts on who has the best and worst crowds/fans?

Japan has best crowd. UK shouldn't even be in top ten, they boo whenever a British fighter loses, (which is a lot) even when its an awesome KO. They also spit on fighters.

Japan.

You don't have to hear people screaming when you're watching it at home.

It was a toss up between Japan and Brazil for me, i like the intense silence from the Japanese, but i love the rhythm and harmony of the Brazilians.

**** us Americans lol.

The U.K. crowds are great, I've seen them cheer when fellow Britains lose.

English fans are the best' date=' bar none.

Not even close, Japanese fans are far more educated about the sport and show respect to fighters even in defeat.

The UK on the other hands boos when their fighters lose and spit on foreign fighters even if they lost.

As some butter toothed Brit spit on Matt Riddle and he didn't even beat a British fighters. Worst crowds ever.

Mate, i'm English, who do you think i'm gonna vote for.

Besides, you can't blame them for being passionate and just because a couple of knob'eads gobbed on a fighter doesn't mean they're all bad..:)

You're just jelly..:D

of what exactly? You guys get like 1-2 shows every other year and have no champions? I'd say, far as being a fan of this sport anyway its best to from the U.S, Canada or Brazil.

The best has to be the brazilians.

Just so passionate.

The worst has be the americans....

They dont even show up for the pre lims' date=' the arena starts to get full near the co main event. Shocking. Plus the whole usa chant for every american that fights a foreign guy.[/quote']

I hear ya on that.

Every once in a while you'll get a good American crowd, but generally they suck.

There's more Americans than UK fans during each event though

Brisbane fans. **** Sydney.

This.

1. Japan - for their true respect of the warriors

2. Brazil - for their energy and love of the game

3. Australia - because no other UFC in history had cheers THAT damn loud for the announcement of HerbDean

oh and because our main events were at like 10am on a god damn Sunday and we still blew the roof off

Our arenas can hold up to 15' date='000 to 35,000

All packed from the get go.

The us events, the pre lims the arena is near enough empty.

They do it with boxing as well.

Terrible 'fans'[/quote']

That's usually in Vegas or CA where they get fights all of the time. Most have been to so many events that the prelims don't excite them anymore. If we only got a few events a year then it would be different.

Sweden and Australia need more events! I was watching Gus vs. Thiago yesterday and the crowd had that awesome chant going (can't remember it now tho lol)... i love that stuff!

I seriously don't know why we still hold the majority of events (USA). The Fans/crowds here are more often then not terrible, please stop holding so many events here!

You buck-toothed mother****ers have one show every two years' date=' of course you're going to sell it out. If you had as many as us, it would be the same deal. No one showing up for the prelims. [b']pip pip cherio you fog breathin ****.[/b]

I lol'd at the bold, but no reason to be so harsh! American fans suck, there's just about nothing good to be said about u.s. fans, and this is coming from an American.

Two things people don't seem to realize:

1. An LA crowd and a Wisconsin crowd may as well be two different countries; same can be said for NY, Alabama, etc. There are some US crowds that are really bad and disrespectful, and some that are great.

2. Japan used to have the best fans, but they've seriously lost interest in the past couple years, to the point that they only have a couple events a year.

1. yeah that is very true, I suppose you could say that a lot of these crowds have ruined it for America.

2. Yeah they probably lost interest when Pride was bought out :(

No one else has a sense of humor?

Sorry mate, i should have said the type of humour we share is different.

It was pretty evident in the Brits vs USA Tuf show. The Brits took the **** endlessly, and fell about laughing, while the yanks just took offence.

Having said that, Patrice O'Neal and Greg Heraldo are two of my favourite comedians, bless their souls.

I'm living in Canada at the moment and Canadian humour here on the west coast is very polite and very pc.

I have to wind my neck in every ten minutes so as not to offend anyone
