Anyone ever have a colonoscopy?

This is by any chance related to your previous thread; http://forums.ufc.production.sparkart.net/showthread.php?t=125890 ?

I sincerely hope you are doing alright. I myself have not had a colonoscopy, but I know a few who have. It is not nearly as discomforting as one might assume from what I've been told. Best of luck, and hopefully this is a minor problem, and you will be able to enjoy continued good health.

Yes, I have an appointment for Wednesday to get checked out, did some blood work and the usual initial inspection today

yeah... it's not so bad ... they give you drugs and you KTFO and just wake up having to fart for like 30 minutes ... I went furniture shopping immediately after

Thats good to hear, no pain, just full of air and bloated?

You have to fart because they shoot air up your *** to open your colon up.

im sorry but that made me lol

anyway good luck

When I woke up I had Austin Powers syndrone (I couldn't control the volume of my voice) ... the nurse asked me to sit up' date=' to which I replied "WHY SO I CAN FART????" quite loudly I was told

I never have but my dad had one recently and golfed later that day so it's not a big deal.

^^this ,,, not a good idea to drive right away .. they probably won't let you anyway .. but you'll be fine ... we literally went looking a furniture immediately after and were walking around for 1-2 hours ... piece of cake

is this gain or for real? I don't think they are a big deal or anything major. I think getting cavities filled probably worse in terms of recovery and procedure for that matter.

I dont know man, the idea of having 3 feet of hose exploring my innards sounded a bit scary... but the wisdom on this forum has eased my anxiety.

Nothing to it. You won't even notice it happened at first. You'll be laying there with an IV watching the screen that's going to show your insides' date=' and then you'll come to and wonder when they're going to start the damn thing.[/quote']

I'll be on after the procedure in the morning, I hope I live through it.
