bluesy
We all know that with his latest interview, Georges has initiated standard ducking protocol, even after recent reports from his manager that he's finally gung ** on the idea of the P4P showdown. Question is, if Georges listens to his inner duck and quacks his way out of this, will Anderson take the leap and drop down to 170 to take his title? Silva has expressed a willingness to do this before, but it seems that the UFC has been in favor of a CW instead. However, if the Greased One refuses to partake in the bout, it may be the only chance we have of getting the fight. I say Anderson wants it so bad that he would agree to it as a last measure. Cuz he's a boss.
WarWest®
He already said he would drop to 170 to fight GSP GSP still ducked the dude even though Silva would probably be on the edge of death if he cut that far Ducking, pathetic GSP, pathetically ducks
HAD0K3N
I think the official is a catch weight at 180lbs, i think andersons plan before retirement is to beat the welterweight champion and then the light heavyweight champion and then retire GOAT i dont see what is left for him to achieve. Pengu
GSP will always duck the Silva fight or any other guy that is slightly bigger than him. He should take a lesson off Penn and learn to fight anyone

munkie
Silva has said the he'd drop to WW. I don't think it's in the realm of possibility for Silva to cut down to 170, but he said he would. Then, GSP would be ****ed because he just said he wants to beat everyone at 170. If Silva can get to 170, then what for GSP? He can't cut to 155, so would he move up to 185? Then for the next 5 years, or until Silva retires, Silva would be chasing GSP around between the 2 divisions?

edh1
He already said he would drop to 170 to fight GSP GSP still ducked the dude even though Silva would probably be on the edge of death if he cut that far Ducking' date=' pathetic GSP, pathetically ducks[/quote'] You know whats patheti,c a guy that could be fighting at LHW, wanting to fight a WW, instead of a more evenly matched superfight between him and Jones. What's next GSP calls out Aldo, JDS calls out Rashad Evans. Silva wants an easy win over a big name, and make a ****load of cash in the process.Real champs aim up not down, don't fight Jon Jones , go after 5 foot 10 GSP, When you walk around AT 6 FOOT 2 220,WITH A 78 INCH reach,Whats wrong with someone his own size,Weidman, Rashad, Bisbing,Shogun or Hendo even. You guys wanna see GSP get beat up so bad you lose your common sense, there are plenty of dangerous WW's left. Silva fights guys like Forrest griffin, and know Stephen Bonner, Have you eer seen a picture of GSP standing beside Bonner. Why see a fight that is'nt competetive. At least admit it, this is all about a hatred for GSP, NOT A SUPERFIGHT.People are sick of watching his safety first wrestling style overwelm the best welterweights in the world, just have a little patience, nothing lasts forever, just ask Matt Hughes, Roy Jones, Prince Naseem,Rashad Evans, who's styles or attitudes made people want to puke, everyone takes a beating ........EVENTUALLY
newyorkgiant1
Silva would probably be on the edge of death if he cut that far This Silva weighed in at, during an interview in Brasil, 223lbs. He would be sick. GSP should know this and try to use that to his advantage.. But he wont.
