stop point fighters like mighty mouse by making octagon smaller?

Or make them attach bricks to their gloves.

exactly Mighty Mouse is a great fighter but he just doesn't have KO power so his punches just add up and judging by Benavidez's face he put in work and Bsping is the same he has good striking but lack of KO power and its nothing wrong with fighters who lack KO both Johnson and bisping actually connected with their shots while using movement unlike Guida's last fight

Or' date=' you guys should stop hating... The guy has beat the number 1 flyweight in the world before him and joe came down (mcall) and beat up a guy whose only loss was to the bantamweight champ bot of which being SD loses or at least one

Mighty mouse looked great tonight, deal with it[/quote']

I like MM but he Kalib Shuffle'd his way to victory like a *****.

I agree that the cage should be smaller. But if you make it small enough to force the featherweights to stand toe-to-toe, there will be no room for two heavyweights and a ref at the same time. It should be smaller, but they can't make it small enough to affect guys that small and fast.

He's a runner who is 2-2 in his last 4 fights. The draw was a gift.

"if you didn't like that flyweight fight' date=' do me a favor and don't buy another ppv. You're a moron, I don't want your money" -Dana[/quote']

I seldom ever enjoy the little guy fights - watching that match up gave me a whole new appreciation for them. that said - those two were awesome and really went at it, and they in fact raised the bar for what an exciting fight should be. I think the only thing really missing is a sense of "brutal power" from the smaller guys - sure they are powerful enough relative to one another - but for some reason it just doesnt seem to me at least that they are "wrecking machines' - more like tornadoes.

yeah, they def showed skill - but more than that they showed tenacity & aggression - something the bigger guys could stand to use more of.

I understand nobody wants to take too many risks and end up losing for the sake of putting on a great fight - but at some point if you fear getting defeated so much that you become almost to "safe" - then you really need to reevaluate your career in MMA/UFC.

100% agree. The rest of the UFC should watch and learn from these 2 guys.
