If god had decided instead of making it like it is making an amount of people who are all at the same age. dont reproduce. and are immortal. and dont get ill.

the rest being the same.

would there be war ? (since they're immortal, it wouldnt make sense right ?)

what would the economy look ?

what would the environment be like ?

how far would the science be ?

what jobs would there be ? (probably nothing with medicine right ?)

discuss.

Depends on how many people he created. If he only made X amount of immortal people who do not reproduce, they could live in harmony up to a certain population.

see: Dunbar's Number

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dunbar's_number

At some point, you start to lose track of who the ****** bags are, and society begins to break down.

Also, are all of them in the same place, or are they spread out in various locations around the world.

If you have groups of them isolated from the others, religions, and ideologies can differ over time. These differences could create conflict and even war should the groups bumb into each other.

what would the economy look ?

Again, depends on how many people there are. If the number is low enough, the barter/trade system would be sufficient.

One nice thing though, since there is no reproduction, and no die off age (can they be killed, murdered?) - as soon as they developed the system to support the total population present, that system is sustainable, the population would never grow beyond what they can sustain.

what would the environment be like ?

Hopefully less polluted.

how far would the science be ?

This would be the biggest impact.

If they are immortal, and do not reproduce, then when all the people settle on a belief system - it would stick. Science would get only so far, the people would feel that they figured it all out, and stop questioning the world around them.

For example. If these non-reproducing, immortal people came to believe that the earth was flat, and everyone settled on that idea - what would ever force them to change theories?

what jobs would there be ? (probably nothing with medicine right ?)

Small enough population - Amish.

Large enough population - North Korea.

Let's make this a religion argument. There is no god to create anything, this thread fails.

If God created us the same age we would have less war because people would be coming from the same place more and there would be less confusion

The economy would be bad because everyone would have similar skills, which would limit how many people could get jobs. For example, very young people could do tasks others can't and if everyone's the same age there would be jobs that no one would be able to accomplish

The environment would probably be better since everyone is the same age and it may be easier to communicate how to work cohesively to solve problems

The thing that would suck the most is you wouldn't feel you had an identity. If everyone's the same it is hard to get the feeling of accomplishing something or being unique in your own way, which are great things. Yeah...think I'd be bored if everyone was the exact same age. But who knows, never really thought about it. I'll think about it a little because it's a unique question and get back to you on if its a fun thing
