It?s been just two days after Matt Riddle stepped up to face Besam Yousef at UFC 154 and the bout has changed once again. Riddle is still in, but Yousef is now out due to injury, with John Maguire agreeing to move in.

The bout, initially pitting Besam Yousef vs. Stephen Thompson, has now undergone an extreme makeover, morphing into Matt Riddle vs. John Maguire, according to UFC officials.

Riddle (6-3) heads into the bout fresh off of a 90-day suspension following his UFC 149 bout against Chris Clements in Calgary. Riddle initially won the bout, but after testing positive for marijuana in his post-fight drug test, the result was turned to a no-contest.

Maguire (18-4) takes the bout after having just fought on his home turf at UFC on Fuel TV 5 in England at the end of September. He lost a unanimous decision there to John Hathaway.

Maguire is looking to rebound after that loss derailed a seven-fight winning streak that included his first two UFC bouts.

The bout is part of the UFC 154 supporting cast for Georges St-Pierre?s return bout, where he?ll put his UFC welterweight belt on the line against Carlos Condit and his interim title.

UFC 154 takes place Nov. 17 at the Bell Centre in Montreal.

got riddle winning this' date=' maguire looked bad in his last fight[/quote']

I thought Maguire looked dangerous vs Hathaway. He was too patient though, waiting for the right opportunity. He only seemed to kick things up a notch in the 3rd.

Hathaway didnt want anything to do with a ground battle and stayed the hell away from him the whole fight.
