Belcher's beef with Bisping

Middleweight Alan Belcher (18-6) will have his hands full with Yushin "Thunder" Okami (27-7) next week at UFC 155. But "The Talent" didn't hesitate to talk about his grudge against Michael Bisping (23-4) on MMA Weekly Radio.

“He had the chance to fight me a while back, when he fought Brian Stann. That was between me and Brian Stann, and don’t let anybody lie to you, there was one person that made that decision and that was Michael Bisping … I pick the hardest fights, the fights that get you excited. It’s a big difference fighting me and Brian Stann, and he fought Brian Stann. That tells you one thing … I’d love to fight him. If something happens with Vitor, I’ll be ready. I’m going to get back in there Rocky style training for Bisping just like the fight’s going to happen, so when I get the call I’m going to be ready.”

Hmm Vitor or Belcher...damn bisping is in a bad spot...both will clean his clock

Bisping is def ranked top 4...but that is also lot to do with luck...in terms of skill he's around 8th to me

except the fact that Stann was ranked higher than Belcher

i enjoy Belcher's fights but he needs to STFU talking about Bisping ducking him for an easier fight lol

Rankings aren't everything. As far as his MMA skillset, Alan Belcher is a much more difficult fight than Brian Stann. Better technical striking, better wrestling, better bjj, better everything. The only difference is that the UFC is trying to promote their war hero to boost ppv buys. Belcher would destroy Stann or Bisping.

Bisping's overall pool is ok but individual skills ,he sucks real bad, like right near the bottom.

His cardio and quickness is what keeps him in touch with the top fighters.Stann is not a good fighter and definitely not a worthy opponent ,since Bisping just fought Sonnen not long ago.Not sure how he goes from wanting a title shot to fighting Stann lol,i think there may be some truth to picking spots and hoping another W will aide his case for a title shot.

Belcher is under-rated as is Weidman. Their potential is obvious. They only need time to prove it. Bisping is ****ed even if he does get past Belfort which will be a tough task. Then he has Anderson waiting to destroy him and then he will have Weidman or Belcher waiting to send him packing into obscurity!

Then the mouthpiece can join Chael on fox as a full time analyst :D

I think he would "beat" Stann, but I think he loses to Bisping,

but he definitely wouldn't "destroy" either of them imo

It would be quicker to list where bisping isn't better' date=' belcher maybe has better bjj baring that bisping is better everywhere.

Also if you take into account the standard of opponent they have lost to only the elite has beaten bisping, belcher can't say the same.[/quote']

no way bisping has better striking, lol

bisping is mr mediocre at everything with good cardio

Yes yes yes!

All the belcher bummers need to grow up and have a food look At themselves!

Oh yeah' date='

Merry Christmas everyone! X[/quote']

Bisping is the the more technical striker, but NOT the better striker. If Belcher/Bisping were to ever happen I would take Belcher by TKO

am i the only that finds it funny that every time belfort fights everyone is expecting him to drop out....

Belfort ran from Tito at UFC 33

Belfort ran from Belcher to fight Dark Wing Duck

Belfort will run from The Count

he hasnt fought belcher yet

This...people don't seem to get the point of it does not matter who you fought in the past cuz on fight now only the now matters

Stupid logic like let's look at who he fought means **** on fight night...cuz if it did guys like wandy and Hendo who have fought the best the world had to offer at that time would have never lost lol

Belcher via Tko...he rocks bisping standing gets the TD and finishes with GNP...a total display of MMA will happen that night

Well unless Belcher comes in not 100 percent...I have said it a few times...Belcher is just thay type of fighter...when he's healthy and well trained he has top 5 skill...on his off nights he's barly top 20....he's like the Shogun of MWs(back when Shogun was trying that is lol)
