Please stay on topic this time. I'm looking at you Kevbo and Lego.

I'll start. I got some clothes, a couple of gift cards, an LED flashlight, some cash, The Expendables 2 on blu ray, a ShamWow (lol), and a partridge in a pear tree. OK, maybe not that last one but the rest are legit.:D What did you get, fellow forumites?

i got spoiled rotten. my cousins got me far cry 3 and call of duty black ops 2....i didnt want that COD game but i guess ill play it until it starts to induce more rage upon me

parents gave me alot of cool stuff. maybe i dont hate them after all. gonna go back over there for turkey and finish opening my gifts. they insisted i opened up the envelope and yeah, they gave me a nice thousand. i wasnt expecting even half of that much. they really went all out this year i guess. im not big into gifts, but ive always liked money.

im trying to figure out what to spend it on. maybe a laptop or something i dont know. for now ive got my television lined with hundred dollar bills and im trying to hold back from splurging. though a new laptop does sound nice, and 500 dollars is a good price for an acer 750 gig 2.2 Ghz 17.3" HD 8 gb ram i am looking at now, except the only turnoff is the intel hd 3000 integrated graphics.. but my computer is so outdated as it it it would be nice to get something that can at least play a couple games..

for now im lookin forward to turkey the most....then getting drunk and watching some world junior hockey. man im already so tired ill probably make the mistake of sleeping right through boxing day. last year all i could afford was a new coat.

any ideas folks? i need some ideas of stuff to buy and the only thing that comes to my mind is a new gaming pc. for now ill just keep my television decorated all nice and festive cause my parents are so awesome.

does anybody know what those cups that change colors are called??? i want to get myself a set of those. i have a candle that transforms colors when its lit, its really neat. i just wish i had a glass that could do that and i want to find one of those.

TBH, christmas presents are simply a novelty that are the result of tradition, they are by no means the measure of ones blessings. Last year, I was grateful we could afford to get me new tires for my explorer. This year, I am exceptionally grateful that our son who was born prematurely is healthy & happy. The list could go on & on.....the best blessings are the ones you count throughout the year, not the gifts you unwrap on holidays & special occasions.

I am actually in the office today as I am completely re-branding Kitsura' date=' so I haven't been home yet. :( So I haven't gotten anything... yet[/quote']

Re-branding, huh? I guess that means you'll have to send me a new Kitsura shirt to replace the one I got in the "random stuff" giveaway. 'Tis the season...:D

No shirts for awhile, I will be producing skateboards, snowboards and surf boards in the future. New clothing line appropriate to the new products will follow.

im gonna give this call of duty a try

hopefully i dont throw my controller at the wall in a fit of rage

COD should come with an extra 2 controllers in the package for when you do inevitably throw them at the wall in a fit of rage and disgust...

I got a blue ray player

a shirt

some gift cards and some cash

had an awesome day with my family and an excellent christmas lunch. Im 28 and every year my immediate family would all get together at my nans house, my mum and dad divorced when i was like 4 so christmas was always the one time of year we could all get together for the day and have a nice time. My nan is in her late eighty's and had a stroke earlier this year. Up until that point she had been in really good physical and mental shape, but the decline over the last few months has been rapid. Yesterday was really special for me because its probably the last christmas im going to have with her, and we are very close. I'm going to remember yesterday for the rest of my life..

Aletheia's parents cooked us a hella good ham, potatoes, brussel sprouts, peas, sweet carrots, cheddar broccoli, and finished it with crumble and vanilla ice cream. I'm so full I can't even think straight at the moment.

I made out like a bandit this year ... My dad recently split with his 2nd wife so there's a lot of "over-compensating" going on evidently.

I bought a new TV 2-3 weeks back and when my stepmom found out she said to come by and she'd cut me a check for what I paid for it which was present #1 and starting out with a bang.

Then it was:

- Blu ray player with all the fixin's

- MIB trilogy on blu ray

- Sound bar and Sub for the TV

- $750 in Christmas checks

- $50 gift card to Bestbuy

- socks (lol)

- a crocheted monkey

- a nice bodywash, moisturizing facial wash, aftershave combo

Haven't seen everyone yet so there might be more ... Was 1000 times more than I was expecting, I've got a very small family and didn't really ask for anything ... the $750 is going towards the laptop I was already planning on buying within the next few weeks so I'm more than happy :)

I got a Galaxy Tab.

Funny thing is, I got my wife the exact same tablet. Neither of us knew what the other was getting. Been together a bit too long when you start thinking the same?

We don't do Christmas with the kids until the 30th because my job won't let me get away til then. We draw names and each person buys one gift. We have 4 kids, three of them have spouses, and we have 3 grandkids. So drawing names keeps it cheaper for everyone.

Of course, we get to spoil the grandkids. That's what Christmas is about anyway.

It is funny when you get to that age where you are the giver of gifts and the payer of the bills, and stop really expecting anything other than hoping to have a nice day or 2 or even just a meal with family. My son was in a bad accident at school last week, so between having to take it easy and another kid with a sudden flu we had to miss out on most of the family and friend visits too. I knew not to expect any real gifts (got myself a tv & bluray, was enough for me) but missing the time spent with people I love (besides the illin' kids) really got to me yesterday. I was actually pretty happy to come to work today, just to soak up other people's aftermath stories.

I may have to make that my screen saver :D

And TONS of color changing cups/mugs came up on google ... take your pick, after you get that sweet laptop

I've had the most fun with my son's remote control helicopter to be honest. It took awhile to learn the yaw and pitch. But I'm flying like a boss now!

... the brand new chandelier over the kitchen table in the house I just moved into this week now has a dent/bent bar thanks to my son getting one yesterday...

Oh, and I got a starbucks gift card, a bottle of white wine I will give to my friends for New year's, 3 scarves, 2 dollar store plants.

I am apparently hard to shop for (?? ) thus get either random re-gifts from relatives, or alcohol completely opposite of anything they ever see me drink.
