JDS really underestimated Cain

Anyone else get the feelIng junior was overlooking Cain? He seemed really off' date=' not taking anything away from Cain ( inb4 someone calls me butthurt). Or was it that big right he wore in the first that set the rest of the fight?[/quote']

Understimated ... this is the right definition overal for JDS

Where is the "KO u wanna see" he pretty much promissed at the weight in ?

Stated this a couple of days ago:

I have noticed JDS's head getting quite big' date=' he has become comfortable, complacent. I see him becoming OVER confident in his boxing and getting caught by Cain, rocked, taken down and TKO'd. Just my gut feeling though.

Just incase people think I am favoring Cain out of preference, I am not. I dislike both.[/quote']

I was wrong about the TKO but I had a feeling that tonight JDS was going to learn a hard lesson.

Butthurt.

JDS looked slow. Almost lethargic tonight.

He looked fresh until he got dropped that first time. He was almost finished, bro...

I think junior's sails were full of his own wind in the lead up. He didn't even really try to establish his jab or footwork. Cain did an awesome job tonight

Please, Roy Nelson who is just learning how to box gave JDS some good punching shots. JDS is a Condit type of boxer, run and circle jab, cross, hook, run and get away and use quickness and reach and hit.

JDS Overated MMA boxer.

JDS proved he can't take a punch and this is what made him look off. He was never really tested until tonight.

You must be trollin at the bold.... He got hit clean, had his bell rung good, ate the follow up and was still there to hear the decision.

Both these fights were HW's doing what HW's do... at that weight and being top of the pile they all have KO power. Jds' lights went out temporarily, and took the best part of 10 mins to get his legs back neverlone his head, he ate everything Cain had to give him... being there at the end, thats called taking punches.

He was definitely a little over confident.

Yes, I kinda got the same vibe from him, in the interviews, at the pre fight press conference, that worried me from the get-go. You don't get overconfident or look passed a guy like Cain, man, I always said it. I like JDS 10 times more than Velasquez, but still.... I knew that this new found overconfidence would blow up in his face.

How was there any indication of that?

That fight was so predictable,JDS running and trying to counter ,while Cain attacking and trying for the take down to gnp.

I even knew that after Cain got him down,JDS would give up his back to get back up,one because he has no real skills and 2 because Cain has no skills either.

So that is it,you have a guy who is elusive for a HW and another who just tries to get you down for gnp, absolutely nothing ever changed course during the entire fight.

The only thing that impressed me was Cain able to keep going, albeit he had no power left and spent some time resting along the cage.

JDS made 3 fouls, that is why i cannot stand the whole rule set in the UFC.What the heck does a warning do?Even worse is JDS should have just held the fence ALL the time,he was NEVER going to win a decision,so he could lose all the points he wanted ,he was still going for the KO anyhow.

The way a PROPER rule set should is NO warning, they are already warned pre fight, first foul is a point loss, second one is auto lose.

i think he expected cain to be more tentative and I also think he underestimated his striking. he was definitly surprised by the pressure cain was putting on him in the first.

but you can tell he was prepared i mean the footwork he used to avoid cain's grappling was amazing and made Cain look ridiculous a couple times before he got rocked.

I'm sure jds trained like crazy for this fight.

I think Dos Santos was becoming ****y, especially in his language before the fight. That said, Cain was going to beat Dos tonight no matter what.

Cain is and always has been my favorite heavy weight, and I believe he will now keep the belt until he decides to retire! He is Winning like a Boss!
