Bobmyster
Will he actually do any good. Only reason I say this is okami and sonnen threw him around like a doll, so at WW will the elite wrestlers not do the same? I think Maia would submit him at 170, and if he did get to fight for the belt he wouldn't fight Gsp as they train together so 'what's the point?' TheMmaKnowItAll
Didn't he already ktfo Maia in 17 seconds a few years back? Marquardt will do well, he's title shot material but not champion material.

And yes, at ww Nate will smash some guys. Can't wait to see who they match him up with.
ForrestGriffinFan101
Yeah, Nates a monster. He's always been one of my favorites. Now that he's bigger and won't get thrown around I think he can dominate, because his striking is really good.
sobercuban
Nate is one of the most often "forgotten about" best fighters out there. He absolutely murdered Woodley who, all though primarily a wrestler, is most certainly world class. He is a beast and a spectacular finisher. His combo devastation of Gouvia is still probably my favorite fight-ender ever. He'll be a monster at 170 but I have doubts that's where he'll compete. He's a long time training partner with GSP. Mangasm
He should get one match before a title shot. Give him the winner of Hendricks vs Ellenberger. They've already screwed over Hendricks this much, might as well do it a little bit more
WarWest®
He already got the belt in Strikeforce by beating an undefeated, wrestling, L&P king. So yeah, I think he'll do just fine
Bobmyster
Did Nate not lose to okami ala Alan belcher fashion? Ok that was at 185, but still! I'd like to see him against Rory or condit or Hendricks!

Yeah that **** was ridiculous. I was imagining his family and Rogers' wife getting in a fight, that would be the **** That KO was ****ing beautiful, that last uppercut while Woodley was already on his way down was the cherry on top LoL

serb-1
one of of the best, if not the best, combination strikers in MMA huge for 170 i could see him layeth the smackdown on a lot of guys like condit, fitch, etc.

So let me get this str8...Nate gets out wrestled at 185 by a top 5er at the time in okami and Sonnen and that will play an effect at 170 where he would not face those 2 again meaning he will most likely get out wrestled again But Maia who got KOed in 17 secs by Nate will not have any effect if they fought again at 170? Yah your pretty balanced there pal:cool:

And what do u mean by that...that Cain v JDS was afluck the first time?...no it was not...JDS landed that punch and Cain went down...Cain is a beast and a 2 time champ now...Maia is no where near his class when it comes to mma You have nothing to base that off if you think Maia should be a favorite to win the next fight if happened

zaksame
IMO if he cut the roids and kept his weight down, his cardio would be better and then perhaps he could be a legit threat. It was sickening watching him fight,by end of round 1 he struggled to hold his arms up from taking roids and doing nothing but lifting weights. You NEED cardio and not overdo the muscle mass.
