Trollsmasher
Source: Junior dos Santos wants immediate rematch with Cain Velasquez, promises victory Nah I don't wanna see them in an immediate rematch. J_o_R
I think he should at least have one fight, Cain had one fight and got a rematch.

cruz2990
He needs one or two fights. Lets see how impressive he is in that first fight.....Cain got the rematch after BF because that was a massive beating.....

Yeah' date=' if JDS is given a guy like Bigfoot who hadn't fought in the UFC prior and doesn't absolutely destroy him then he won't deserve an automatic rematch.[/color']
Trollsmasher
That and the Reem was out indefinitely. Cain vs Reem JDS vs Werdum Werdum is not a guarantee win over Big Nog. I can see Big Nog beating him
JohnnyZadar
he should fight the loser of Reem vs Bigfoot...a tune-up fight first...get his ground game sound and confidence back...Cigano will be back
TheEntity
I'd like to see JDS fight at least 2 fights, and i don't hate hate JDS i just think you have to deserve another shot. Cain's reighn can't be taken seriously cause he got the title fight after one win and i don't want this to happen to JDS
Junglebird
he needs 2 fights. one if he wins big like Cain did.
JohnnyZadar
undefeated in all his UFC fights...loses to the new champ...i think he deserves a tune-up fight b4 he fights Cain again
Banutu
So what will he do in the immediate rematch, try his black belt jujitsu full guard? I'd say fight 1 or 2 cans for warmup before a serious rematch
GoToGuy
He needs one fight to tune up then a rematch.

Manho
If the fight was really close (e.g. Split decision or controversial UD) then maybe an immediate rematch is called for. Unfortunately, it was a one sided beating.
zaksame
Did he not promise a KO??I guess JDS's word doesn't mean much does it? What is sad is that he must have known he was going to be grappled by Cain,it was a given, and yet Cain used NO skill to take him down, most the time he was just dragging him down. All i heard was black belt bjj ,,i LMAO big time,he would have used that instead of taking a beating and he showed no sign of any take down defense.JDS has simply relied on a one dimensional game,he figures he is the fastest HW [which he is] and figures he can use that to run and buy time until he can get a KO.That one dimensional strategy is ok for most part, but you won't remain champion without some other skill, strategy. button_man
jds is delusional.he got owned for five rounds, clearly a one sided fight.why should he be granted an immediate rematch?he should atleast fight the loser of reem vs silva or a rematch with werdum.but i see him losing to werdum in a rematch. ThePack19
I think he needs two fights before he faces Cain again, because that fight was no where near being a close call or a freak lucky KO punch. If JDS destroys his next opponent, then maybe he gets the nod.

I want to see JDS face the loser of AO vs. Big Foot, or maybe Werdum if he beats Big Nog. What u guys think? Due to personal interest I say yes for once on this topic and I rarely do. But only because of personal interest. Back when Brock was being a cash cow for UFC beating nobody's and the organization was preventing people with talent from coming in to fight him ( people who don't know about this will learn eventually..) my brother and I had 2 fighters that could beat him today. Back then it was a year and a half before Brock lost his belt. My pick was Cain, his pick was JDS. Both have retired the cash cow Brock now and they are at 1 and 1. I can't stand multiple matches but the HW group isn't exactly stacked. I say yes. Lets put the REAL talent toe to toe one more time.
