To all the people in attendance at UFC 155....

I am far from the biggest JDS fan on this forum and last nights fight went almost exactly like I expected. I was rooting for Dos Santos, but Cain came in with a better mindset and performed like we all knew he could.

That said, I am still beside myself trying to figure out what kind of MMA "fans" could possibly be booing JDS after the fight. The man took a massive beating from bell to bell and never quit, never stopped trying for the miracle KO and certainly didn't make any excuses afterward.

Not speaking as a butthurt fanboy, just an actual MMA fan.

Congratulations to Cain on a brilliant fight and to JDS for showing the heart of a champion even in defeat.

Do everyone a favor and stop buying tickets if you can't appreciate the sport respectfully!

100%. I don't care if it's a bad decision, or a guy you don't like, don't ****ing boo a guy who poured his heart out for your ****ing entertainment.

I lost my ****ing mind when people boo'd Leonard Garcia after the first Korean Zombie. The dude gave you the fight of the century and he has no control over the judges. Have some ****ing respect.

If you're gonna boo, boo Yushin Okami. ****ing Lay n Pray and Wall n Stall fest/

I wanted to shed a tear for the guy. I love MMA but i have said it before and i'll say it again. American MMA fans are some of the worst. That **** would never happen in Japan. Japanese showmanship is amazing.

My right eye leaked a little bit, but I'm a big *****. :P

I'm embarrassed as an American fan.

I think I'll take the Cain road and claim Mexican, when I'm only Hispanic. **** Americans. WAR MEXICO!!

Yet another reason I was such a big fan of Pride. No country is completely filled with knowledgeable, respectful fans but to have so many people without any concept of the sport in the arena last night was sickening.

First of all I would like to say that was without a doubt the most pathetic display of american ignorance and stupidity! I'm not lumping in all Americans here but what a bunch of dooshbags!

Secondly, I am a Belcher fan and hated seeing him get dominated and gasping for air but I would NEVER boo Okami for that performance either! A true mma fan would see the grappling clinic he put on Belcher and appreciate that. It wasn't the most exciting fight but when a fight is that important I can understand why Yushin kept the fight where he could win.

"Why do you guys do that?" - JDS

I felt so bad when he said that.

I felt the same way! He seemed bothered by it and I don't blame him. He was one of..if not the most humble Champion around. He has a lot of respect, he doesn't give up, and he fights his heart out to entertain people! Junior Dos Santos is not only a great fighter, but a great person aswell. He didn't deserve the boos last night. I look forward to him getting his belt back.

Yushin literally did nothing but lay on Alan. He went for no submissions, barely tried to advance position and landed almost no punches. He just used strength to lay on him. It was not a grappling clinic and was a piss poor excuse of martial arts.

Yushin was seriously lay and praying in full mount.

Yushin Okami makes Jake Shields look like Korean Zombie.

You're a ****in cry baby! He was working an arm triangle and struggling to maintian position against Belcher. They were two closely contested fighters and that was a good display of grappling.

That was not lay and pray. Too many uneducated noobs on this forum.

And thats coming from a Belcher fan.

Lmao!

Working for an arm-triangle? I saw one half-assed effort for a side choke. That's it! I don't remember Yushin landing a single significant blow from top position. The only thing i remember from the fight was Alan breathing heavy. That's how pathetic it was. IF you want to see actual good grappling watch the Myles Jury fight. Yushin's performance was pathetic.

And that's coming from a guy who is NOT a butthurt Belcher fan. Just hate pillow fisted jokes who bend the Wrestling favored rules of MMA and stay very inactive.

STFU ***

I even sent JDS a tweet saying sorry for the BS crowd. He probably won't see it but I felt that bad.

Heh, I feel like doing the same thing, but I don't tweet.

I know you are a JDS fan... I'm just saying, I picture you giving a hard time to the fighters that you aren't fans of.

All those stats do is prove that Belcher was not an easy opponent! Whats Yushin to do numbnutz?! Stand and trade with the better striker in Belcher?!

As I said before... I hated seeing Belcher lose but I put the blame on Belcher for not working his wrestling harder!

You guys are all displaying classic Buthurt syndrome.

The definition of lay and pray is to take someone down and hope they can't do anything.

Exactly what Yushin was doing. I don't blame Yushin for doing it, but he was doing it.

Don't be blind, homie.
