I don't think Silva will get passed Overeem, but if he does I wouldn't mind seeing him against Cain.

That victory was little tainted in my opinion due to Silva vision been impaired by the blood. Ringside people should have done a better job of cleaning his face when they stopped the fight to see the cut. What u guys think?

Why not I wouldnt mind seeing another beat down. Also I think BF will do better against AO than most think. Did anyone see that vid of AO doing the arm wrestling against Bob Sapp he looks alot smaller than he did in the Brock fight.....

Everyone looks smaller when they stand next to Sapp

That first fight was bull****. There must have been some serious bookie money on cain to win in a later round to let that go on. Have seen so many fights stopped for lesser cuts than that with just the threat of going in the eye - but that one, Bigfoot was literally shaking it out of his eyes constantly and they let it go. Should have been pulled as soon as the cut opened up and TKO stoppage. Give him a rematch!

Totally agree with this.

Silva should've been given the chance to be convinced by Cain that he [Cain] would've beaten him regardless of the blood.

Now, with Overeem, JDS and Cormier in the division I don't see how Silva can become anything else but a gatekeeper. He wouldn't get past Nelson either.

I think he completes our trinity of 3 BJJ specialists who are to slow not to get KO'd by the top-5 fighters, together with Mur and BigNog [although his striking has been quite impressive as of late].

Unfortunately BF doesn't have ANYTHING over Overeem. So him fighting Cain again is highly unlikely. But in the case of BF beating Overeem, most def should get a title shot

He has a better ground game than Overeem. He probably won't be able to get it there but if he did that's where he would be able to get something done.
