Whos next for JDS ?! I think it will be either Hunt or Barnett in case he comes to UFC and it will on July 4th weekend on the same night Cain will defend his title 2. Will Big Foot get the shot at Cain if he beats Reem ? I dont think BT has a chance on beat Reem and would get destroyed again by Cain. I dont think he would get the shot even if he beats Reem. 3. When will Cain fight again ? And who ? I think he will defend his title on July 4th weekend if he fights Reem OR Cinco de Maio weekend if UFC comes up with an unexpected challenger like lets say the guy who will fight Cormier beats him !!! 4. Does Werdum/Big Nog winner stand a chance against Cain ? Werdum yes, Big Nog nope. I honestly think Werdum would be a very bad matchup for Cain (that can be another thread). 5. Would Cormier makes his UFC debut at a HW fight then drop to LHW to face Jones ? I actually think so. Considering Jones is booked with Sonnen, I can see Cormier fighting maybe Roy, beating him and "introducing" hilself to UFC fans as "the Jones challenger" type of thing. I do noth think UFC wants to make JDS vs Cormier IF they want to make Cain vs JDS 3 AND Jones vs Cormier .. 6. Last but not least. Cain vs Cain, who would get it ? I doubt it. If Bigfoot wins, they'll probably wait until JDS wins his next fight and complete the trilogy. 3. I think it will be before the summer. He'll fight 'Reem if he beats Bigfoot of Junior again if Bigfoot wins. Possibly Werdum if he beats Nog. 4. Like you said: Werdum, yes. Nog, nope. 5. Probably 6. Cain beats Cain every time, lol. Werdum would get a title shot. but this newcomer still had to destroy Struve, Cro Cop, Yvel, Gonzaga, Roy, Carwin and finally faced Cain. [b']i wonder how many fights will he need this time[/b]. Who are u talking about on bold ? JDS will fight 2 guys before Cains rematch IMHO. Calling Barnett and Hunt here. UFC wants to make sure the hype against JDS is for real. Reason why I think UFC will make JDS fight 2 guys is just FOR THE HYPE. U know, they will want to make something different from Cain. Wirerat Posted January 2, 2013 Report Share Posted January 2, 2013 If I was the UFC, no way in hell I give JDS less than 2 fights back to the title. Reason being. I truely believe with all of my being that after the beating he took, JDS will still not be mentally ready as he should be after just one win. JDS is going to need a couple solid wins before I think he will be mentally prepared to face Cain again. You can't tell me taking a beating like that isn't going to have a negative mental effect on JDS. 1 win will help, but it may take 2 more more good quality wins to truely get over it, and even then there will be a level of doubt in JDS, especially if Cain started the rubber match with similar success as the 2nd fight. Catch my drift? I just don't think JDS is going to be ready to face Cain anytime soon whether he says he is or not. Don't let pride fool ya. fourthnorseman Posted January 4, 2013 Report Share Posted January 4, 2013 Just read a new article that says Cormier wants to stay at HW. Wants to fight Mir in San Jose for UFC on fox 7. I have a feeling that JDS will fight Nelson again or some other can. I hope he fights Hunt! Big foot will not beat Reem! Cain will fight Overeem next. I agree Werdum yes, Nog no.
