Polymerase
A lot of people seem to say Chael vs Jones is a huge mismatch and a wasted fight. But.... many of them are OK with Nick and Georges. This doesn't really make sense to me because I think Chael has a way better chance at winning over Nick beating Georges. britishranger
Firstly Sonnen is a chump he has no right being in the ring with another champion, he has not earned the right its that simple!!! Secondly Nick Diaz has HUGE chance of beating GSP, Diaz has everything except takedown defence, he has a fantastic chin maybe even the best in the sport, he has fantastic striking, fantastic cardio again maybe the best in the sport, and he is a black belt in Gracie Jui Jitsu! He is the stand out fighter to challenge GSP and only in beating Nick can GSP say he is a dominant champion

Discuss and inb4merge First of all, ask yourself who is a most complet fighter, including titles, ground game, chin, cardio, boxing, reach, experience, BJJ, JJ defense, etc .... then you will probably understant why Nick is dangerous to GSP. D not care for Diaz brother BUT seat in here and say Diaz is NOT a legit trouble for GSP is just crazy !!!
Wirerat
Nick is about as Dangerous to GSP as a 10 year old girl would be. Sonnen has a slightly better shot simply because his aggression and pace could throw Jones out of sorts temporarily. Diaz isn't bringing nothing to the table that GSP hasn't already seen and beaten with ease. When will people realize what a scrub that tool really is? Oh yeah, when he's cut from the UFC around mid 2014 after 4 straight losses. Or after GSP dominates his whiney little butt and he gets butt hurt and cries his way to retirement. Sisti
Nick and Chael are similar in that they both have much less skill than the champ. The difference is that Nick has been taking names for a seriously long time in SF and it's more of a merging belts type of fight. Chael, on the other hand, is just getting another title shot based on the fallout of 151 Of the 2, I'd say Nick has a better shot. Still very very minimal, but GSP's chin is not perfect, and Diaz does possess the potential to rock GSP Chael doesn't have many ways to beat Jones, don't see him grinding out a decision or securing a finish so his chances are a little less
MMAEars
Nick has the better chance simply because Sonnen is out of his league here. He will be worked so bad by Jones, it won't even be funny. Diaz has a chance against GSP but that's about it. It's GSP's fight to lose.

GHBD
Sonnen has less of a chance than Vitor did, he will take a beating just to get paid. Love Diaz to win but it is unlikely too, no way GSP will stand and trade and his sub defence is good. GSP by UD

ultimatefightingchamp
Nick Diaz. I think that's a pretty obvious answer
Wanderlei_Rua
Diaz fight plan will be simple. Walk forward with a smug look winging punches until he gets taken down. Then at some point during the fight Diaz will need GSP to miraculously have a brain aneurysm at the exact same moment that Nick secures an armbar attempt. Easy submission win. Sonnen's game plan is a little more complex. Jones will actually have to have an off night, a blistering case of herpes, a mild stroke mid-fight and Chael will also need to employ the use of a cageside hypnotist in order to land takedowns. Tough split decision win for Chael. I'd say Diaz.
Yesterdays_Hero
Diaz has insanely higher chances of beating GSP. Chael vs Jones is a complete waste of time that no one asked for. They've used Chael to help revive the TUF series by using his amazing ability to BS his way in and out of anything and everything but when it comes fight time the skill gap between Jones and Sonnen, combined with the the size advantage Jones always carries is just going to be way too much. The only interesting part about the match up is that we might finally see someone pressure Jones instead of just sitting at the end of his 10 foot reach. But that will last for what? Probably a minute before Jones adjusts and uses his more diverse game to beat Chael anywhere he wants. If Chael can't bully his opponents he has nothing and I can;t see him bullying Jones.. physically at least.. On the other hand Diaz is a well-rounded fighter that could give GSP troubles everywhere. I don't expect him to but he is skilled wherever the fight takes place and due to GSP's safe nature and Diaz's toughness he has 5 rounds to work his jiu jitsu off his back or land a good combo and hurt GSP. All things Chael does not have the luxury of having.

mutharasha
definatly Diaz, he will always have a chance for a freak sub or ko, especially since GSP isn't what you call a finisher. Chael really doesn't have much chance at all based on what we've seen of him recently, cos he ain't holding Jon down for 25 minutes
littlecalgary1
Chael .P. Sonnen will take Jones down whenever he wants and ground and pound Jones into irrelevance.
xCappax
I think both fights will be even.... I don't think any one is more of a "mismatch" then the other but yeah GSP and Jones are still the favorites and I think they'll both win.

Doobster
They have about the same chances in my opinion. Diaz, however, has the best chance to get a title around his waist SOONER than Sonnen. duh! Diaz beats people up, and I like watching people get beat up. Especially my fellow Canadians. Diaz wins, then the Waterboy will take the title from Diaz.

wanderleisilva101
Diaz he can actually win if he uses his BJJ or tags GSP striking, no way GSP will finish Nick so he has 5 rounds to get a finish or he loses a UD. As much as I dislike Jones Sonnen doesn't really have much to offer him except wrestling and Jones is bigger, stronger and faster so I doubt he will do well at all he will get finished likely by submission.
